Burst Skills need to actually matter and be a bit scarier.

Use the instant AoE’s based on your cursor’s location (in the game options section) trust me, makes playing hammer much easier and fluid.

It should just track/leap to your target like savage leap does.
Eh please no, I like how it is, savage leap is nice but there is a larger margin for error with target swapping, Earthshaker can also pull off some interesting swaps / turns.

Target swapping is a horrible option. The problem with Earthshaker is it has a high chance of missing due to not being able to track the target.
Agree to disagree, I’d probably quit hammer if it was changed to an auto track, regardless good luck with your ideas.
Well, I think an autolock would be a good idea as an option. If they had that we could just leave hammer alone.
What I would like to see, for sheer cool factor, is special bursts for dual wield builds. Like dual axes could have a extra whirling attack at the end of the leap. Dual swords would have a crazy 15 hit attack. Sword/mace or vice versa would be a stab and smack knockdown, sword axe would be a stab + evis like chop, axe/mace could be knockdown with mace then a triple chop while theyre on the ground.
One of the flaws in this game is you don’t use your dual weapons fluidly in this game. In other games having dual weapons changes the auto attack to account for it. Id like to at least see something in that direction.
Is it me, or is there an error with the 1-hand sword Burst? I have that trait (i think) on where if you use burst skill, you regain endurance. Sword burst doesn’t do that. But the other weapons does. Anyone knows if this is a glitch?
First, make the Burst Damage trait stat go up to 15%
Eviscerate: Is fine, just make it a 600 range leap
Arcing Slice: Applies 20 stacks of Vulnerability for 5-8 seconds, damage is fine
Earthshaker: Fine
Skull Crack: Make 3 second stun and increase damage by 25-50%
Flurry: Maybe allow the Warrior to move while using it, bleeds last 3-4 seconds instead of 2
Combustive Shot: Fine as is
Kill Shot: Another one that’s fine

No. That’s stupid. Too long range. A small increase like 400/450 (600 at most, pending testing) would be ok, like Savage Leap. Currently it’s a bit too CC dependent given that the AXE is one of the least mobile weapons the warrior has.

Don’t be ridiculous… GS is already one of the best mobility weapons in the game. The last thing it needs is another movement skill… Least of all one similar to Ranger’s Swoop. Think kitten through… Yes, the GS’s burst needs to be reworked, but so completely not the way to do it…

No. Being ground targeted has advantages and disadvantages. If anything it should be just a bit more responsive. Everything else is fine.

Ridiculous. It’s a 2 second stun. I anything maybe make it a bit stronger stun, or give it slightly more range, but still melee.

You’re high on something. Flurry is one of the most devastating skills in the game. Learn to use it.

It also slows it down too. Since it only hits max of ‘5’ targets anyways.

So tap the key (or click the mouse button in my case) twice if you’re in a hurry. Not going to slow it down nearly as much as its own animation does, which if you really wanted it to go faster would be a much better thing to change.
The only changes I want to see.
Eviscerate: 600 range
Skull Crack: Some kind of gap closer tied into this (even just a 250 range one) and a bit more damage
Combustive Shot: 1500 range when using the trait “Stronger Bowstrings”.
I don’t know how to fix Arcing Slice without a complete re-work.

That’s a big gripe of mine. The fact that there are many abilities to leap or rush to a target, but if they are on a higher plane than you, you’re screwed. Other games I’ve played have it so if you use a leap or port ability you switch to your targets plane. Without it you are forced to just run away completely or die to a ranged attacker. I know being ranged is already an advantage, but I can’t use my gap closer because they are 6’ higher than me? /sigh..
