Lol These Stats Aren't Even Fair
Guild Leader of Favorable Winds [Wind]
How do you define "not fair" just curious? And how is it not fair?
Seems pretty fair to me. Garbage damage for lots of heals and condition cleanses.
Why sword/warhorn is the new meta is beyond me. I spank them every time with hambow.
sword warhorn gives a lot of heals out to your team and has good condi cleanse for the entire team. Also F1 immo is great for focusing people. Not everything is about damage/1v1.
The meta is classes that heal not only themselves but their allies which makes them appear tanky (engi turret is AOE heal, ele has a kittenton of AOE heals in water, warrior has shouts which are AOE ect.)
Yeah, but for heals, it sacrifices the ability to constantly disable the enemy team. All that time I have the other team disabled, they’re not dealing any damage!
Also, it gives subpar shouts at the expense of amazing stances.

I’m just saying that its impossible (AFAIK) to get these stats altogether on the other classes.
You have amazing group support, healing, physical damage, condition damage, mobility, condition clear, etc. etc.

you could sacrifice DotE, for 1 more point into def, giving you an extra 200 power, 50 armor and 50 healing.

That’s because other classes have blinds and aegis spam, invulnerabilities, protection. And so on.
Yeah. even as someone who mains a ranger I wouldn’t say this is unfair by looking at it. It seems like youl balance out in practical combat once you take into account the various effects that are common there. That and I always prefer personally to see support builds than stand alone builds.

And that’s unfair on the basis that other classes have access to stealth, boon spamming, incredible healing, viable long-range damage, high AoE damage, superior support and CC?
just clear something up for the might stacking is more around 15-20 in a active fight. maybe substitute sigil of intelligence for sigil of fire, if for group of course .
throw away disables and dps for couple k hp in heals.
What’s not fair?
Not to mention longbow is silly dps and sword is silly dps.
so D-tier Damage on low damage weapons. Portable healing tank but nothing else. IF anything it’s unfair to the warrior for being one of the only viable playstyles atm.

I used to think (build op, pls nerf) like you, but then I took a nerf to the knee.

Those warriors dont have stability, CC efects and only one stunbreak.
They are good to fight on point but weak in open field.
They can have their boons stoled / corrupted / removed.
They are useless in WvW except for the suport (healing / clears) they bring.
Your warrior build would lose to a similarily specced ranger.
If you gonna go celestial, use valkyrie or cavaliers for armor, cleric backpiece, zerk or zealot for weapons. It balances your build out, enabling you to do more damage and thus be useful.
PS: that ranger build works and is nothing to scoff at. GS is all you need for zergs anyway, sword + torch makes it a formidable roaming setup.

Ok. 2 things.
For everyone else, I’m just talking about stats. Not how much support it can bring and all that other stuff.

And Prysin…
no it honestly wouldn’t. Cele shout war is already very hard to beat on a good player in PvP. It has heals, damage, and condi clears to the max.
– Your build has perma poison but you can’t even keep it up as much as you think you will with all of the warrior’s condi clears.
– Not only that, you didn’t take Empathic Bond either to cleanse the conditions the warrior can put on you. Perma burning with 15-20+ might stacks hurt. With a giant fire field and frequent burning application, and only sotf to cleanse the condis, you will be taking a lot of damage.
– Also, rangers don’t have access to boon stripping either so the might stacks will keep building and their damage will keep increasing as well until they hit the cap.
– Furthermore, you don’t have enough power/crit damage to make maul hit hard enough to actually make your opponent worry. Maybe 4-5k max after a swap.
