Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone,

I am coming back from the game after about a 1 – 2 year absence and it appears my current build is out of date. I believe I was using a berserker build with GS and 1haxe/1hmace. I was wondering if someone could post an updated berserker build or if that is no longer viable, another high dps build for pve including what buffs should be on the weapons and jewelry. In the alternative, if there is already a thread that has a viable build or 2, please point me in that direction.

That is still the meta Warrior PvE build. It may be your traits.

I believe you are right because my zerker does not have the umphh he used to. Can someone point me in the right direction regarding what traits I should be using?

It’s condi rather than crit, but it’s a lot of fun

I checked Metabattle.com but it only has a nice build for fractals/dungeons. I guess what I am looking for is a good world boss/solo pve build.

The raid build CadeRG.4508 mentioned is nearly identical to what I use. If you’re just looking for some cheap exotic stuff it can be used with Rampager’s gear (or if you want some toughness Rabid) until you can make a set of Viper’s ascended. It’s a really good build that works for world bosses as well. You should try it out.

For Solo PVE:

Second weapon can be anything really, sword/warhorn for moving around, axe/mace for vulnerability stacking, rifle/bow if you need to range.

For group situations, drop Arms and get tactics instead, traiting Empowered, Empower Allies and Phalanx Strength.

For utilities, apart from Signet of Fury you can use whatever you want in solo situations…in groups bring Banner of Strength and Banner of Disciple.

For runes, Superior Runes of Strength are propably the best for soloing but are quite expensive. For a cheap alternative you could go with Superior Runes of Rage.

For weapon sigils, Force and Air are propably the best(most expensive) choises. Cheaper alternatives : Strength, Blood, Accuracy.
