Yo ho,

So for about a couple of days I’ve been running Longbow/SnB and I’m finding it to be very, very enjoyable. The build I’m running so far is pretty decent (I created it through trail and error xD) and I can output a lot of damage, both AoE and single target. However, sometimes I feel myself struggling in fights more than I should be. That doesn’t mean I lose, but it just means that a fight as a Longbow warrior is a lot more tough to handle. Since it’s very rare to see other Longbow mains (another reason why I love using it ^^), It’s difficult to compare my playing ability to another who has mastered it.

That being said, I would like to ask everyone who plays a Longbow warrior in PvP to leave some guides, tips, hints, builds, whatever you want which will not only benefit me, but anyone else who stumbles upon this thread.

go the ‘glassiest’ possible, rock up to any fight longbow Pin down then hit arcing arrow, and just before the bar completes…switch to axe then f1 and watch them fall to the ground.

I dont care if im being zerged in spvp, this combo is so quick i can use both dodges inbetween and not die until i put someone on thier back first. Thats a win in my book.

Defektive has a thread about using the Longbow/GS in TPvP, so I’d suggest checking it out. Longbow, contrary to long-standing opinion, is apparently a very viable choice for Warriors in high-level PvP.

Bad build honestly. You’ll get better damage from other runes, I fail to see how focusing on defensive traits helps you with lbow damage or adrenaline gain (weakness trait wth?). Invest more into discipline, swap out your runes to ogre/scholar/divinity, dolyak signet is an awful utility for pvp and grab a zerker amulet, else you’ll be hitting like a wet noodle.
