I use fire for WvW.

Hard to beat Fire. for the extra Aoe you’re already putting down with Longbow.

It really depends on your build. If you are power-based, then fire. Very nice with skill #3, can do a good AoE spike.

If you are condition based, I’d go for Earth (I use Earth personally… my auto attacks crit quite often and almost every crit is nice bleed (Sigil + minor trait) —> 90% longer bleeds with a trait and food. This adds up to at least 14k bleed dmg on Pin Down as well.
