I’ll begin by saying the character I have played most on is Warrior, so this is by no means a hate campaign on Warriors.

However, I noticed in the last game I played a Warrior playing the broken Hambow build was rooting me with Longbow #5 but for some odd reason I was still snared even after the Immob. wore off? I even popped Mist Form on my Ele and still I couldn’t move.

I’m not sure if this was a bug tied with Longbow #5 or some other factor causing it, but I know it happened after I was rooted.

Anyone else experience this?

I experienced this bug from other immobilize and CC…It’s not a warrior skill specific bug. It can come from other professions who use CC also. Other bug Is when no skills work and weapon swapping is greyed out.

Yeah I’ve noticed that whenever CC, Immobilize is applied there is a chance of your character not being able to move until you are moved/stunned by another character. I’ve noticed other professions doing this, and you may have just noticed it more easily on Warriors because of all the CC that hambow provides.

It happens on slanted terrains, or when you were in the starting or ending animation of jumping/falling

it makes the think you are still falling, making you unable to use any skills etc…..it lame, but it is also not longbow, or warrior, specific.

to fix the immobilize bug use a leap / teleport skill.
to fix the grey-out weapon bug .. take medium falling damage (so you fall on your face).

Some necro accused me of hacking the other day when he was apparently perma-rooted by my GS/Hammer warrior in WvW.

Funny, my ranger friend used his elite to r00t him.

But there really is a bug, and I experience it often after using a ‘movement’ skill as well.

It’s know as “stuck bug”, also happens on some blinks/teleports. Doing an /emote also fixes it if you don’t have a leap ready.
