Guild Wars 2

Short version:
Ex-Ranger looking for a build for lb/rifle relying more on the rifle

Long Version

So im coming from playing a ranger pretty much the whole time i’ve played this game. I’ve tried out other classes and don’t really like them. I like to keep things simple, so somthing like a D/D ele is out of the question for me…the rotation on that..ugh.

Anyways, I like ranged classes and with all the changes…a ranged ranger just isn’t what it use to be, imo, although lb is making a come back. So i started a warrior and started playing lb and then a rifle…and i love them, the skills are just awesome.

I will mainly be doing open world pve and wvw, more so solo, or with the new changes coming…small group stuff.

So far, in open world pve i play like so:

Multiple mobs = lb and setting stuffs on fire!
Single target = rifle
Champion farming = lb to start swapping to rifle

I haven’t played wvw yet with him but i would probably play something like this:

Group = lb
Roaming = rifle
Turning a camp with a bunch of npc’s = lb

So what do you guys suggest? I’m not sure if there is something that ca be balanced but if i had to lean more towards one than the other i would want my rifle to be more reliable as i will be playing solo more or less. And as with any kind of wpvp…whichever side has the most numbers is going to win regardless if everyone is doing top dmg for there class…usually that’s how it goes…

Warrior needs a melee weapon set to be effective in WvW. LB is pretty good paired with a hammer or dual swords. Rifle… meh.
