Guild Wars 2

I play my Warrior 80% of the time with an Engineer friend, 20% solo. I was hoping someone could help me figure out a solid build that will help me to achieve the following (as much as possible):

1. Maximize Engineer DPS using various banners, shouts, etc.
2. Survive difficult fights/mission stages.
3. A balance between DPS and support. I don’t need to maximize my DPS, but it would be nice to have decent DPS for when I solo.

If you think you have a better build for my Engineer duo that doesn’t fit the above description, that’s fine too. I’m currently level 40. Along with the build, what stats should I be maximizing with my gear?

Well I play engineer and what makes me happy and what I can grant a warrior ally is:

• Engineers like fire fields for their explosions
• Engineers grant fire fields for your explosions (warhorn?)
• Engineers grant you permanently 15 stacks might if well played, if you don’t have them, wait for it with burst skills like 100blades
• You don’t have to worry much about vulnerability. Engi can keep it up, with bufffood even 25 stacks on non-champs+
• Engineers cause vulnerability on crit → Banner with Precision <3
• Engineers do not like other fields than water and fire. Anything else disturbs them
• Engineers usually have a trait that grants +2% dmg per different condition on the enemy – but I guess they do them by themselves instead of asking a warrior for assistance
• Engineers can cause much bleeding for the warrior trait +% dmg against bleeding enemies.
• Engineers can hold and blind for your 100blades with bombs
• Engineers do not like moving targets
• Engineers can clean your conditions

Yes thats actually everything Basicly → the engineer grants you the luxus and buffs aswell conditions for the enemy to maximize your damage. Good match up. Make sure you both are charr for the feeling

Bring blast finishers. Engis create lots of water & fire fields.
Bring a hammer to keep enemies from wandering away.
Bring a rifle and have fun out-sniping your friend lol.

You 2 will literally never die, no matter what you pull.
