[CVA] has spread from Eve Online to GW2!
“For The Toast”
I normally run a glass cannon Guardian in WvW, but now I want to level up my Warrior for some heavy ranged damage. Rifle or bow is preferred, and I would also like some tips on some massive DPS builds. I’m not too worried about toughness or vit survival since I’m pretty good at skill timing and dodging.. but any ideas would be welcome!

You need Berserker’s might, and the two longbow traits.
Why Berserker’s might? One of the greatest strength of the Longbow is the Flame AoE. When your zerg is sieging the tower, you can place the flame AoE onto the wall more often to destroy siege weapons or keep players off of walls. You will also tag more players as enemies walk through the flame AoE.
Sword/warhorn helps a lot with mobility.
Everything else is optional.
I like 30 points in arms better, and grab furious. F1 in a zerg and you refill adrenaline bar zoom zoom.
try 0 30 20 0 20 zerker + longbow it hits like a truck without gimping ones self in tactics.
Either way is good. But if your auto-attack can’t hit the enemy on the wall, you will have to wait 20 seconds or more for the next flame aoe.
Never tried a ranged build but if you’re gonna hang back with the zerg -which you should given the 1200 range and little escape abilities of a ranged war-:
I don’t think kill shot is an issue landing it on an unsuspecting foe. If you want to set up for it though, you might want to take frenzy and bolas -though bolas has a 900 range-.
I think other builds incorporate Longbow/Hammer but you can’t chase people down as much. Also, I think some ppl ran the PVT gear on longbow with success.
