Guild Wars 2

I’ve played a guardian since release, but recently started a warrior and I’m loving it. My question to the community – is there a “standard” build for warriors such as guardians having the standard AH 0.×.30.30.x build. If you play a guardian you’ll know what I mean.

That’s not to say I want to play my warrior like a guardian, I’m just looking for that one build that works for all warriors in general. Something that plays well in PVE and WVW without having to change traits or anything. I’ve looked all over the forums but can’t really find anything like that, but that may be due to the warrior’s diversity over the guardian. There’s definately alot of good builds on these forums but I was just wondering…

If you are zerging in WvW then hammer/healing banners. Works in pve, too. Guardians are more effective in that aspect.

Unfortunately if you are looking for a one-size fits all build you have picked the wrong class.

There is no "standard" build for warriors for PvE or WvW.

Although many people who roll with zergs in WvW tend to run Hammer with either Mace/Sword + Shield/Warhorn while speccing into shout healing and PVT gear. Even then, there are many variations to that build.

Hammers aren’t really used for PvE, or are the most efficient in certain content, many tend to go for a glassy build when they do dungeons such as CoF and more survivability when they are running something like 40+ Fractals.

Warrior is the type of class where we especially don’t have any one-size fits all builds because every weapon is situational (some more than others) and that one build that might be effective for certain content might be next to useless or inefficient in others. You will inevitably have to change up some things. Unless you don’t really care about optimization and would just rather have fun, thats cool too.
