im missing a good GC assassin profession from my lineup. ive narrowed it down to rifle/GS warrior, or GS/mantra mesmer.

i would use both mostly for bringing people down quickly from 1200 (this is why im excluding thief from the options). warrior would have GS for massive melee burst, mesmer would have shatter. warrior has better mobility but no invis.

what do u guys think? skill cap is not an issue for me.

Both can do that. Warrior has more kick and lolz through killshot. The piercing rifle trait is freaking hilarious if you use killshot on a zerg. Also, GS beats mesmer stealth regarding survivability. Mobility is king.

Mesmer brings more group utility to the table. You can Time Warp, mass cripple, feedback, nullfield, the list goes on. The pewpew from GS also hits hard if you go full glass, and it pierces just like the rifle but can not be reflected as it doesn’t count as a projectile. GS also get’s a nice knockback for pushing people off ledges. If you take a Focus offhand on the secondary set, you get another extremely funny and powerful pull.

Difficult choice man. That’s why I run both

id be zerging sure, but also running with a very organized team (5-15 man)
