“Revenant is actual proof that devs read the necromancer forum”

(my warrior is an alt, so if I get things wrong, please be brutal and correct)
My warrior right now has two sets for WvW, each having around 3k armor due to my trait set up (20/0/20/10/20) and about 1989 without Signet of Might. 37% crit rate, 55%~ crit damage.
both of my sets are oriented towards removing Conditions in some way, with one being Melandru’s and the other being soldier. Thing is, I have been finding my Melandru’s set to be more useful as of late due to food for cond. duration decrease. As much as I dont mind retiring a set, I prefer to have two viable ones since both are close in stats. Lyssa seemed like a good alternative, as it gave Precision which means higher DPS. However, the main attraction was the 6th portion, which gives all boons and acts as a condition removal, effectively making Warrior’s already strong ultimate even stronger.
My question is, do you think it even compares to soldier’s function? granted, FGJ and Shake it off are on short cooldowns, they still only remove one extra.

Here’s the thing about Lyssa. If you time it it can be your best wipe. However, if your not running warhorn you give up your access to swiftness. The other thing is lyssa has the unique advantage of being good for other thing besides wiping conditions. You can pop it for stability, aegis, etc since you get them all.
So basically soldiers and melandru are better for keeping conditions off. Lyssa is simply more versatile then the others.
Edit:
You should change PvP to WvW as that seems to be what you are talking about.

A big advantage of Lyssa compared to soldier’s is that soldier’s sort of obligates youk
u to use at least two shouts. Shouts are fine, don’t get me wrong, but lyssa will give yiu more space to swap skills.
I used to have soldier, just switched to melandru. Loving it.
Unless you are using a healing shout build Lyssa is the way to go IMHO cause it will free up space on your utility bars for more varied skills. I like running Lyssa with Signet of Stamina which provides 2 condition wipes so I don’t have to save my SOR for the right time. I can pop it at the beginning of a fight, clear the first wave of conditions with SOS and by the time I need to clear the second wave SOR is ready to go again.
