MS/GS Outnumbered vid
Great video! I’ve all but given up on trying to make my warrior a success but I may give this a try. Don’t you have problems though with heavy condi builds?
Can’t watch the vid right now, but your build seems very good to me. However, why do you use intelligence on GS? Wouldn’t Air be way better here?
Hulk Roaming Montages/Build Vids
I always rage but never quit.
You play in Black Gate right? I think I fought you 1v1 with my Axe-shield GS when you were roaming in Tarnished Coast BL. I am the warrior that wield a Twilight. We fought in front of RedBriar Tower for a while then the Jade Quarry zerg came and disrupt us and we both ran. I remember ur guild name and that you were a skullcracker.
@ Final – depends on what condi build it is but from my experience from playing a full melee build properly played necro is the hardest to deal with followed by engi’s. while condi thieves, condi warriors and mesmers are easier to deal with. it also depends on where you are fighting them and if there and any terrain to take advantage of.
@Cygnus i was using air for a while but ended with intell due to the fact without fury or UF proc my crit chance is only 24% base ( 31% with the food ) and when i would get caught in gs without the SC set up i felt WWA BT and Rush weren’t critting enough overall to keep pressure .I do agree tho ideally Air would be the better option if your stats are better optimized
@doon yeah i remember was a gf until i had to bail when the zerg showed up :p
There were some awesome fights here, I cannot believe how you manage to come out victorious out of such dire outnumbered situations. Quite inspiring and humbling, I would say. Thanks for sharing!
Great kiting skills and use of LOS! I find it interesting that you don’t use the trait Warrior’s Sprint. I feel so slow without it, especially if I’m running full melee.
Also, what’s with the resurgence of the skull crack build? I remember that it fell out of favor because the Unsuspecting Foe trait was moved up a tier and because the ability itself was given an animation. I think there was some kind of nerf to the sigil of paralyzation as well (correct me if I’m wrong). Was there an update I missed that helped boost its popularity?
Why does it not surprise me that a majority of the outnumbered fights were against power rangers?
good vid but stability update will kill this build that’s why i’m thinking of switching to axe
dope video man dem stuns
The twilight v eternity HB battle on the rock at 11:20 was epic
Was there an update I missed that helped boost its popularity?
The original set of nerfs completely killed the build (it was something that needed nerfing though). This was because the entire combo the build relies upon was just not possible anymore.
However, there was a later sigil and rune update that boosted the sigil of paralyzation’s duration up to +30% instead of +15%. With this, it once again became possible to set up the proper skull crack→100b combo. As such, some people started to use skull crack builds again.
They are still not nearly as powerful as their original incarnations, but I think they’re much more balanced in the overall scheme of things. For me, this actually makes them much more fun to play, and they’re also more fun to play against (although I don’t think it’s ever really that fun to eat a full 100b while stunned, but hey).
So in short, they came back to life awhile back, but they’re still fairly uncommon since they aren’t as well rounded and heavily rely on one specific combo to win. It’s a very fun build to play, although it gets much more difficult to pull it off if you choose not to use the holy stance trinity.
I usually use a forceful greatsword variant (more similar to the classic build), but the missile reflection can be really delicious against the right opponent.
