Please make Mending a “Physical” skill, and lower Physical Training to be a Major Adept trait. (Requires only up to 10 points.)
This would make a lot of since, since if you did it would be used for a lot of builds.

10 pts = Major Adept, not minor major. just clarifying.

Ah sorry tired, fixed.

Would make a lot of “since” indeed. I for one would like my Mending to do 100% extra damage! And who wouldn’t, really?
Oh man… These threads are always funny…
On a serious note, Mending just needs a slight heal boost, or cooldown reduction – One not tied to a stupid arbitrary trait, of course, whatever tier it might be.
Another one of these?
Honestly, when are you going to stop asking for traits to be lowered from Master tier to Adept?
That’s exactly what you shouldn’t be doing, since that’s no different from asking to have the power (30/x/x/x/30) and delicious survivability. And let’s be honest, that’s like begging the devs to be made OP. And that’s ridiculous.

Would be nice if people who dismiss plausible suggestions would just take a breather for once. Because seriously? Physical training on adept is OP? Jesus christ Olba, you must be the best Warrior in game right now (No really I’d like to see execution, getting sick of people who are all talk and no action) because he knows how to make off-hand Axe work in PvE and “Triple Physical” utilities work in PvP.
No really, it wouldn’t make Warrior OP if you lowered down physical training to adept. Prove me wrong.
If ANYTHING, it might make Warriors more diverse. Who knows? People like to try new things.

Hey, at least you didn’t send me ingame hatemail, like some people have.

Look, I am not saying that Physical Training itself is OP. Heck, if it was just lowering it to Adept, I would at most think it’s a pretty random thing to change.
But Daecollo isn’t suggestion just that. He’s also wanting a trait that doubles the healing Mending does. Basically, a 10 point trait that would turn Mending from 5,240 to 10,480 hp heal. That’s higher than a full adrenaline Healing Surge, along with having a lower cooldown and removing 3 conditions.
Go ahead, try telling me that doubling the base heal on Mending wouldn’t be drastic and potentially very OP.
I agree with physical training moved to adapt as adapt line actually lacking any usable trait there unless u runs the mentioned mending with restorative strenght = condi cleaner on 20cd
Healing abilities on its own are balanced.

Mending needs a little buff, and so do physical utilities.

where the heck did you get the idea that he wants to double mending???
the trait doubles only the DAMAGE of physical skills, not simply their effect or eventual healing or anything else. The only benefit mending would get from becoming a physical skill would be the reduced cooldown

Then why not just lower the CD? Instead of needlessly moving traits around and making ppl spec specifically to make a crappy heal nobody uses actually viable, just make it viable?

Because now you don’t want to use it, because you have to sink 20 points into a worthless traitline outside of PvE.
I like the suggestion, although I do think fixing mending and moving down Physical Training should be handled seperately.

Because that was what he was doing the last time he mentioned Mending?

Well in that case we have a few other things that need answering.
Just because there are two things that someone thinks need to be buffed doesn’t meant that their buffs should be combined.

Obviously, no one agrees with making mending 100% scaling. But who in the right gdmn mind would say that physical training shouldn’t be in adept? Physical utilities are GOD UP already.
If anything physical training cool down reduction should’ve been baseline. I’ll take a baseline physical training over baseline fast hands ANY DAY because I miss using triple physical utilities even though baseline fast hands would be the most reasonable one out there.
I’d rather see a one of our heals become a Shout instead of a physical skill. It would make Soldier’s Runes and the Shout healing build viable again.
I still think this needs done.
I’d rather see Mending’s heal increased a bit (to like 5.75K) and Rampage effected by Physical Training

Well, it could lower the cool-down by 20%, and increase its healing by 20%?
If it’s healing was increased by 20% it would be as strong as Healing Surge, except it wouldn’t need adrenaline and it would remove 3 conditions. 6K+ is too much, 5500-5750 would be about right

Why not just make it a physical skill then and then make it 5500? That would have a trait that makes it lower its CD to 16 seconds. Then it could remove 3 conditions.
(edited by Daecollo.9578)
Because if it heals for how much it currently does, with a 16 second cool down, it’s as strong as Healing Surge like I said. If it’s at 5500 it’s 343 HPS, more than Healing Surge, almost Healing Siget levels, but removes 3 conditions

One is burstier so it favors mobility more.
Mending would be better for staying in the fight.
I’d bet most people would be running Mending if it was that high. 20 seconds is fine, just needs it’s healing upped a bit

If you made it a Physical Skill. It would make since, since mending someone IS a physical skill and it would offer it an upgrade and make more builds. It would also make physical builds more kitteny.
