Make kick an F2 burst move
Well with the amount of crying going on over the warrior I fear for the value of this thread.
Don’t worry just get a cup and store all the tears that are gonna appear and drink them later if you’re full. It’s quite good for the skin as well as refreshing.

I run kick all the time in my OS trolling build.
I always ran kick on my Sword&Shield build using distracting strike, even before they created the runes of Perplexity, and it always worked fine.
Honestly, I don’t think our interrupt-heavy sets (Hammer, Mace/Shield) need any more easy-to-access interrupts. Especially with the whole Distracting Strikes/Rune of Perplexity thing.
I think all of the physical skills should be mapped to the F keys anyway. It seems like part of the warrior’s persona, something he should have access without using up utilities.
You know like the guardian has his offensive and defensive stuff as F1-F2-F3, why are warriors not the same? I never understood that. Bull’s charge is almost useless, it’s a decent attack but it’s on a 40 second cooldown, and the only thing worth following it up with is 100 blades, there’s no point in wasting a utility slot for it.
I wish they would do something with our F2 and F3 buttons, like Stomp and Kick or something.

Maybe because they wanted warriors to be unique and not be like guardians,

I’d love to see an expanded/revamped adrenaline system. As it stands, our class mechanic seems to be the most simplistic out there. I’m not saying it’s bad, or weak by any means, I just think it could be expanded upon.
F2: A secondary bust skill based on your offhanded weapon.
example: Offhand Warhorn: F2 Shatter Eardrums, a small radius attack that dazes nearby foes for [0.5/1/1.5] seconds.
Offhand Mace: F2 Dustbowl: Slams the ground and kicks up dust, dirt, snow, sand, etc. Damages foes, and creates a smoke field for [1/2/3] seconds.
F3: Kick: Longer cooldown (30s), uses 1 bar of adrenaline
F4: Stomp: Longer cooldown (60s), uses 2 bars of adrenaline

Runeblade, what has a Guardian got anything to do with it. I said warriors should have their OWN skills mapped to the F1-F2-F3 buttons, not guardian skills. So things like stomp, kick etc.
Guardians unique abilities are completely different ?!?!?!?!?!
And nearly every other class has unique abilities relating to the F keys, so by your logic, does that make them like guardians?
Dand yes I completely agree. The current system is a little too simplistic. I wouldn’t mind if they had toned down version of the physical skills to be used as the class unique area, I feel like these skills should be “built in” with the warrior and would give us a few more things to play around with (like the ele’s who have 20 skills to cycle through)
I agree, I think quite a few of the physical moves could be moved to a class set-up such as Mesmer, Guardian, Elementalist, Ranger, Engineer, etc. get. Adrenaline by itself isn’t really that interesting of a mechanic, you’ll almost always want to use it at maximum, and you will just use a move based on your main-hand weapon. Though, Warrior utility skills are also kind of bland as is, maybe we could get some new ones while we’re at it?

Calm down. You ask for an explanation, you got an explanation. Maybe I read it wrong and you don’t want an explanation and just tell the world that your stupid idea is a good one.
And you know what, Maybe Anet don’t want Warriors to be like those classes.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
My idea wasn’t stupid, your comparison statement that I’m suggesting a warrior becomes like a guardian is stupid. I merely posted a suggestion, which is fitting to the context of this thread (the thread is about mapping the warrior’s physical abilities to the F-keys). Clearly you are interested because you came in here to read and comment.
So what makes my suggestion “stupid” in your opinion? The fact that just like Dand in his above post, I recommended that the warrior has extra skills mapped to F-Keys? Can you let me know why you think that’s “stupid”? What’s your suggestion then.
Maybe Anet doesn’t want to the warrior to have other abilities like the other classes, but that’s a large part of the reason for having the forum, we’re here to make suggestions and possibly Anet might look into it.
Please, share some of your brilliant ideas then, you obviously have a lot to say.
I sense a perplex noob user that started this thread.
Kick does seem a bit… lacking. It has its uses, and it’s not even bad at them, but at the same time I have trouble sacrificing something else for it – it is a bit like an extra weapon skill.
That said, having it as an F2 seems a bit weird. In an alternate world where all physicals were F-skills it would make sense, but with the current system I’d rather just get an F-skill for the off hand weapon (and for 2h weapons, just a secondary F-skill). Or even have the one skill change based on your weapon set, like the middle skill on a thief’s bar does, so that more weapon combos could be meaningful.
