The things I wanted to stress in this guide, more than anything, is in this section. This build is not hard to pick up and play, but it takes some time to get to the next level. Two dead giveaways that you are facing an inexperienced Hammer/Greatsword warrior is if they are predictable and blow all of their cooldowns right away. The most common thing I notice with any Hammer warrior build is that most warriors will use all of their cooldowns on their hammer even if their enemy is out of range. The trick to avoid this is patience and timing. Wait until you are on top of your enemy to use your hammer skills and try to bait out preemptive dodges from your enemy before you lay down your CC chain. Remember to cancel your skills if you think they are going to miss. The second dead giveaway that you are facing an inexperienced Hammer/Greatsword warrior is if they are very predictable with their skills.
This is somewhat true and i have notice other warriors popping all of their skills while i just dodge them, usually theyre the not too experienced ones. if you check out my video [link is below] i do tend to use some of my skills when my opponent is a bit far away but theres a reason, i try to be a step ahead of my opponent and try to predict their next movement, doesnt always work but i do try.
