My warrior is a kitten
yeah i see the problem here…….. with those looks even NPC’s wont be taking you seriously.
now on a straight note:
its just the way it goes, maybe its the build (traits) you have or like you sad yourself game is getting harder at that lvl, i mean a lvl 2 warrior kicks kitten and the closer you get to lvl 80 it gets less modifiers because of your lvl
1. your character is ugly
2. why are you using all signets? what are your traits? where is healing signet?
3. once you get to level 80 with a proper trait setup and full exotic equipment you should be fine

I used to think (build op, pls nerf) like you, but then I took a nerf to the knee.
I change gear every 10 levels, of course it doesn’t look great. Unless you’re talking about the dyes.
Using signet because they give nice passives, it’s my first character so I don’t know what works best. As for healing, this one seems to heal the most and gets rid of 3 conditions so I have been going with that one.

You’re doing fine for a new character.
From what I can see at first glance :
Earring slots free. could add something there.
You should be going for an all rare (yellow border) or masterwork (green border) set. Back up a to a slightly lower level map and work there until you have either items you can wear or enough silver to buy what you need from the Marketplace.
I prefer Healing Surge/ Signet, but I suppose mending could work in certain conditions.
You should not have any white items at all around this level.
White items are baseline quality items that are used at the games onset or in the event that your armor gets broken, so that is what I would work on first. Afterwards (or at the same time) I’d work on salvaging a bit more frequently to bump up your magic find. That will reduce the need for you to buy armor on the marketplace (although, at this point it doesn’t matter all too much)
Welcome to GW2, btw. I’d be glad to help you out a bit when I’m free. Send me a mail and I can explain some things in more depth in game.

What Azure said. You should be wanting to get Rare/Masterwork gear to give yourself the edge you need. Doing higher level map completion will grant you rare/exotic gear so that may help.
My gear is mostly rare and a bit of masterwork and 1 exotic. No whites whatsoever.

?
My mistake then, I seem to have forgotten that borders don’t show up in the equipment UI. The yellow threw me off.
What are the Prefix names of your gear then? And how do your traits look?

4 str and 4 arms
straits are great fortitude, slashing power, furious speed
prefix names all berzerker except the helm.
Oh.
You might be suffering from the 5% damage nerf to Hundred Blades since you are pretty much full zerker, just a note~ The last feature patch reduced greatsword damage. You might want to look into different utilities (like signet of rage) and start using your GS burst attack in order to get some of that dps back.
Other than that, im looking into what it could be. Sit tight.

Things die slower at high level because they are balanced for 80 level character. Come back in those zone after getting a full berserker armor and a real build, and it’ll be good. I know, all my chars end up leveling in level 75 zones with base gear, and it really takes ages.
I think it’s just a matter of bad gear. Keep going Berserker, though. For example just two exotic accessories alone would be able to give you 112 power with power as primary stat, and with two jewels an extra 50. You should just focus on getting a full exotic gear set with the right runes. It might seem alot for you but if you just keep playing it will go faster than you expect.
Only thing I can think of is incomplete traits and the recent damage nerf to HB.
Which means things are intentionally that difficult at that level. just keep chipping away I suppose.

As a warrior or any class leveling you should be focusing purely on power. Power>Precision>Ferocity. Greatsword is great for leveling but with a power build your sword/warhorn swap set isn’t great. Swords are more for condition damage specs and pvp. You should be using Axe/Mace for vul stacks and stun when fighting tougher mobs. You can also swap to longbow for range fights but NEVER use rifle. Healing signet, Signet of might, For great Justice, Signet of precision/Shake it off/banner of strength, and Signet of Rage is what you should be leveling with. As for traits anything that will increase your damage. At your current level your build should look like this. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQNAR3ZjMdU3Z3HWewJaAgAx4hAHTlR553A Make sure you’re using all your weapon skills in between swaps. If they’re regular mobs that die easy the great sword should be more than enough but like I said if the mobs are tougher make sure you swap every time all your skills 2-5 have been used on greatsword and stacks those vuls and add the stun in to help. When you know your fight is over and won’t be getting back into combat immediately then dump your adrenaline with an eviscerate. Eviscerate does more damage “single target” than Arcing slice which should only be used for AOE dump. If you want to level fast though I suggest EOTM. It is the quickest way to level and easiest. Just join, find the commander tag, stay with zerg, and level fast.
1. I actually like how your armor looks; except for the helmet. I’d hide that one (there’s a little checkbox at the equipment slot). But of course that’s up to you. ^^
2. I’m one of the few who has actually read your original post carefully enough to know from the beginning that you’re already using quite good gear in terms of rarity and stats. ;D
3. I think putting something into those two accessory-slots will add a nice bit of damage.
4. I would NOT suggest to go for a full exotic set of gear now. You’re already level 75. If nothing helps, go to a map with a little bit of a lower level and do some dynamic events and stuff there – you will be lvl 80 in (almost) no time. In my opinion, it would be silly to invest gold into a full exotic set just to need to buy another one shortly afterwards. On a sidenote, I always level my characters in Masterwork (green) quality gear to 80, so you’re actually better geared than any of my chars below 80. ^^
5. You can try EotM, but imo it’s very situational. If you’re lucky, you get lots of exp. If you’re unlucky, you get barely any.
6. Welcome to Guild Wars 2 (a bit late to say that, I know)!
Edit: Mainhand Axe indeed does way more damage in a powerbuild than mainhand Sword (except for Sword 3 if used on a mob with low HP… but mobs in open world usually don’t have enough HP to really make use of this skill). You might want to try it (the autoattack, that is).

Most people don’t realize how much the trinkets actually add!
at max level, a full set of ascended trinkets + backpiece gives more stats than an entire set of armor.
It is nearly a 50/50 between them.
So missing those 2 earrings is the same as missing 2 pieces of armor all together, and noone would run around without armor pieces if they have access to them right?
Get some rare trinks/rings the armor can be greens with some rares until 80. But you always want to occupy stat slots (armor AND accessories)
For the missing accessories, you can get them cheap from the TP. Either you get two “Opal Platinum Earring” which are around 3 silver each and have Precision/Power/Ferocity as stats, or you go for “Ruby Platinum Earring” which cost a bit more than 8 silver each and have Power/Precision/Ferocity as stats. Those are lvl 65 masterwork equipment. There’s also a version with rare (yellow) rarity, but they are at least 25 silver each and the difference in stats just isn’t worth the price-difference imo; especially not since you’re already lvl 75.

What makes you think you’re “one of the few” that has? I read the post and noticed that he doesn’t have any exotics or even accessories. Simple gear issue. His gear is bad, don’t try to fool him that it’s something else causing him to crit bad. Without any buffs or anything you should have around 2.3-2.4K power with a full zerker build, that’s 700 more than he has right now. No wonder he’s not critting high.
When I say invest in a full exotic gear set I ofcourse mean a level 80 one. He’s gonna be level 80 in a few days give or take. I thought that was clear.
