Hey everyone Tap Dat Mouse here! I’ve updated my warrior build! It has massive damage and has crazy high regen!

Yeah, build is really great as it uses the current balance state.

Still, what saddens me is what Nhymz call “fight fire with fire” in the videos. Its just another testimony of how a warrior is pigeon-holed to what most people already know and use. GS superior DPS, that no other weapon combo can reach, utilizing at least Zerker Stance and Endure Pain to gain that 10sec window of opportunity to kill your opponent. Elite skill of choice is Rampage of course. Yep, most of the time the 10sec window is enough.

This build works great, forfeiting Cleansing Ire for Last Stand isn’t a big deal since Cleansing Ire with either Hammer of GS is somewhat unreliable. You capitalize on Warr’s GS damage output and the whole build sees how you can deliver it with no interruption.

Great build just not something new…

ye build is a nobrainer – prolly 80% of warriors run it with some alternative weapons instead of hammer and some other choices in runes. not like there are any other options..

first thing I did was check to see how it differed from the 1 established build that was obvious from june 23, nope 0 changes lmao

only other build really is swapping defense for arms

Well at least he made a video about it, but wouldve been fun to see some gameplay at the end for us who dont follow twitch

I mean come on, ANET drastically reduced the flexibility of builds in the JUNE 23 update. Pretty much every build is going have a base setup with minor tweaks. You only have 3 choices per slot now and some of them will never ever ever be taken by anyone. Most often there is really only 1 really viable choice in a given slot.

What were you expecting? A brand new talent line that no one had seen before and TapDatMouse had unlocked?

Actually its not TapDatMouse fault apart from posting the “almost only” warrior viable build with the “NEW” tag. Its just a revamped version of his Legendary v3.0 build.

The concept is the same and people already know it.

Its Arena.Net’s fault that, although warrior can use axes, maces, swords (which all are damaging weapons) and when combined can produce 9 (if i am not mistaken) unique weapon combos you barely see 2-3 of them and mostly as supplementary weapon sets.

Changing that would be something NEW!

I have to say i agree, this is the exact same build, you take away double feel no pain and this build is garbage.

Reality is, Warrior comes down to double FN + Decoration.

Even though it is the standard metabattle build with a few changes, the changes he made did seem to prove the build overall. Idk about calling it legendary or anything, but I found myself surviving longer in pvp

While I understand that the build is incredibly similar to the metabattle build, I am INCREDIBLY grateful for Nhymz for posting this.

Firstly, the vid is from a WvW perspective/setup, whereas the Metabattle is sPvP. While both deal with player on player action, both also have very distinctive needs and penalties. He also does an excellent job of explaining gear/skill/trait choices. Even if you don’t agree or want some of those choices in your build, you’re in a better place to make that decision after watching this.

Secondly, not every warrior has been playing since forever. HoT is drawing back in a lot of lost players, as well as bringing in some new blood. Even if this was the only build on metabattle (which is isn’t), they might now know the skill synergies or that the site even exists yet! For anyone coming to the class and needing a quick look at what to run, this is an EXCELLENT addition.

As for it not being “Legendary”, there’s several other “Legendary” builds in his video history; this is simply an update on those builds that coincides with the sPvP build on metabattle. This is a solid build, with great information, and presented very well for anyone looking to pickup Warrior.

For those getting into wvw warriors, it’s a great video that explains the intricacies of a wvw build.

Really hope Tap Dat Mouse comes back. He was fun to watch both on YT and on Twitch. Was trying to link the 4.0 build to one of my friends and noticed I couldn’t find it. Thought I was going crazy until I found this thread and the related hacking incident.
