i duno if this would help us or not but maybe a trait in defense in the grandmaster line caleld Testudo (unfortunately, this would screw up my build) that offered dmg reduction based on level of adrenaline 5%/10%/15%.

just an idea that came in mind, they should just remove banners and give us war dogs, same passive but maybe alittel bit less, and with banner number 2 as active. and have auto attacks. and depend on which war dog you have, the auto attacks effect are different, some auto attack do higher damage, some do less damage but give different conditions.

then that would be too close to flesh golem or even have the elite banner’s revive effect would be too close to rangers elite. so i was thinking maybe replace elite banner with a elite shout which knock down up to 8 enemies in range for 1 sec and gain fury swiftness haste for 20 second with 120 second cool down.
warrior will just get a warrior-ish updates.

well replacing banners with npc such as war dogs is definitely warriorish and gives sustainability , because you would have separated knock down, heal, and inflict conditions

I prefer seeing more weapon sets / utilities apply weakness. Weakness (25% chance on any attack to make it do 50% less damage) would definitely give warriors higher staying power for all build types / playstyles.
Big heals when landing burst skills, based on adrenaline consumed.

The cooler and better any new warrior skills might be, the cooler and better the skills other classes are going to get. Prepare for continued complaining.
New Shout, “Shield’s Up!”: You and nearby allies deflect projectiles for 2 seconds and gain 5 seconds of Protection. 50 second cool down.
New Stance, Battle Rage: For 5 seconds your next Adrenaline skill costs no Adrenaline and has no Recharge. 60 second cool down (maybe a lower cool down)
Another new stance, Warrior’s Endurance: For 8 seconds you regenerate Endurance 50% faster and gain 250 health per second + (healing power*.1). 30-45 second recharge

that stance would be insane, and i could actually see them implementing something like this. heck i would finally have a reason to remove [signet of stamina] from my utility bar.
I would like to see a second bar of skills for weapons, a defensive ones.
Just have Adrenal health and Banners scale more (much more) with healing power
But with the speed Anet moves about any real change won’t be here before 2016.
And by then we’ll all be playing wildstar or w/e

@Fiorrello, assuming you’re talking about Warrior’s Endurance, it might need a 5-10 second longer cool down since you could get it to last 10 seconds
I love the idea of the war dogs. If i’m not mistaken are warriors the only class that doesn’t have some sort of summon? Eles have elementals, mesmers have clones, necros have their undead thingies, engineers have turrets, thieves have thieves’ guild, rangers can summon those spirits, guardians have spirit weapons.
Yeah we need some sort of summon. We can summon flags, but they don’t do anything. I mean, the buffs are nice but ranger summons can buff and heal too and move around (if traited for it) and do stuff. I really want the dogs now. They could even make it a trait, when we summon our banners we also summon a dog that will carry the banners for us. No more people walking off with our banners. the dogs stay near us and follow us around and will use the banners skills even stabbing enemies with it.
Just thought of something else. I would hate to rely on stupid AI as to when the dogs would use the skills. So an additional command bar would pop up next to our adrenaline meter that would have all the commands that the banners had. That way we wouldn’t have to pick up our banners if we wanted to use them and give up the skills of our weapons for it. the dogs will loyally follow by our side at all times and we can just click on the skill bar that pops up and still be effective in combat because we still have our weapons in our hands and not a banner.

I doubt they’ll put something like that in, but since we’re throwing ideas around….why not a squire that carries the banner? He could activate the skills on it and attack with it (much like the squire in the Ascalon fractal), but if he dies then the banner sits on the ground for a reduced time before despawning.
Distracting Strikes changed from applying Confusion, to applying Vulnerability.
Or dealing damage like the mesmer one. Maybe 8 vulnerability + merging it with the physical trait.

F2 button that is like a mini “burst”. For some skills it could stun, others it could block, and maybe it could consume 1 or 2 bars instead of all the adrenaline?
Some trait changes I’d like to see
Cleansing Ire: Keep the current effect, and Burst skills no longer effected by blind. This really only matters in PvP and WvW
Sweet Revenge: Now just gives you a 5-10% damage boost while in Vengeance, Vengeance always rallies when you kill something now. Maybe reduce the time Vengeance is active before you drop dead by a couple seconds
New shouts:
“FIGHT ME!”
interrupts foes in a 600 AoE and forces them to use their #1 on the warrior for 3 seconds. (yes, thieves will hate this)
Can be ended by stun breakers.
“GET UP, YOU COWARDS!”
Grants Retaliation and breaks stun on allies in the area.
“GET OVER HERE!”
pull target foe to your position.
The mob has spoken and the turrets shall be burnt at the stake.
I have some ideas, both changes to current skills and some additions of new skills:
Bull’s Charge: Adds 2 – 5 stacks of vulnerability (based on adrenaline level) for 20 seconds. This is on top of the current skill effects.
Kick: Adds 5 seconds of weakness to target
Elite Skill – “Rise Up!”: Break stun, grants 10 seconds of protection and stability to nearby allies. Range: 900 CD: 70 seconds
Sustained Stance: Toggle – Grant Protection and Regeneration, lose 50% damage and conditions last 15% longer
Banner of Speed: Increase movement speed by 10% (stacks with other movement buffs), Decrease all control effect durations by 20% (Cripple, Immobilize, Stun, Daze, Fear, Knock-Down, Launch, Chill, etc)
Signet of Recharge: All weapon skills cool down 20% faster (stacks with traits). Active: Fully recharge elite skill. Signet of Recharge takes on 150% of the elite skill’s cool-down. Elite skill still takes it’s normal cool down.
“Find Their Weakness!” Allies next 5 attacks apply 1 stack of vulnerability and 1 second of weakness. Lasts for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 25 seconds.
Headbutt: Apply 5 stacks of confusion to your enemy and stun them for 3 seconds. Also dazes your for 1.5 seconds. Cooldown: 30 seconds.
Just some things I came up with that would be rather interesting. I’d love to see an elite shout put in.

Never going to happen. Savage Leap would be rather crazy. Not to mention that there’s plenty of other things that could be end up wonky due to permanent conditions or higher stacks. You would definitely end up with Mace/Shield being completely broken.
Savage leap is an 8s CD. It wouldn’t be too OP. Perhaps 10 – 15% faster CD? I’m also not sure how Mace/Shield would be completely broken, their cooldowns are long as kitten to begin with, but I understand your concerns. As I said, some adjustments would need to be made. The suggestion was just attempt at conveying a workable ‘recharge reduction’ skill. They had them in GW1 and I’d love to see them in GW2, but it would come with issues, undoubtedly.
Banner rework:
Banners are now equiped on your skill bar like Signets. Passively, they are always active and shown visibly on your back. When activated, the banner is thrown down, the effect and range are doubled. The banner can also then be picked up like normal on live and moved around. When the banner is down, it cannot be placed on your back until the cooldown is finished.
I would like to see passive banners on my back. They would simply have a reduced effect and reduced range when not placed down.

People keep saying it, but I don’t see why. Look at some of the ridiculous traited cooldown on a number of mesmer skills.
