Name the Worse Warrior Trait
Too many to name lol.
But honestly Thick Skin is pretty bad. And Powerful Synergy has got to be the worst grandmaster trait in the game.

True
I would use that trait problaby in a ShoutBow build if it was Master or even Minor. It really doesn’t make much of a difference since I’m already stuck to the line anyway
powerful synergy, thick skin, inspiring presence.

Cull The Weak

“ArenaNet”
worst Warrior trait imo
Honestly, only like 6 good traits. Rest are meh.
How can thick skin still be considered bad after it got buffed?

OH! OH! OH! I got this one!
1: Toughness was nerfed months ago so that it is nearly useless. That’s why people run glassy builds. all running toughness does is kill your damage output.
2: Second, because of the burst damage meta, one hit will take you below 90% in an instant!
3: This is what Thick skin does. Take a good hard look.
Gain Toughness when above the health threshold.
Health Threshold: 90%
Attribute adjust Toughness: +120
That is a freaking joke. you may as well spit in the player’s face.
4: We already have a trait (Spiked Armor) that gives us toughness based on level.(max 1000) And it gives retaliation.
5. It is a wasted slot that is mandatory, which means even if there was something better to choose from you cannot avoid this trait.
Good Traits:
Quickness when enemy reaches 50%
Damage on Dodge
Burst does more damage
2x Stance traits
fast hands
Warrior sprint and shield trait. Rest kind of disappoint me.

I was being sarcastic, although your analysis is accurate.
My vote is for Thick Skin obviously, worst trait in the game for warrior.

1000 toughness? How? I thought it’s only 150

There’s another trait which gives so much toughness – Rousing Resilience:

Easy fix for thick skin:
120 toughness above 50% health
Gain 5 sec boon below 50% health (ICD: 20sec)Make it usefull, it doesnt have to be very strong for a minor trait but the current 90% tresshold is just stupid high.
This is still bad IMO.
Honestly, a trait with a name like that should just mean a permanent damage reduction, be it either condi or direct.
One could also opt for a reduction in Chill/Burning/Poison effectiveness or something, just cause it fits the name.

- Thick skin
- Cull the weak.
- Sundering Mace.
- Restorative Strength.
- Determined Revival
- Reviver’s Might.
- Inspiring Presence.
- Vengeful Return.

Yes sorry I meant Rousing resilience. the point was that 120 toughness is a drop in the buckett
Thick Skin for a glass warrior equates to a 5% damage reduction above 90% health. Think about that for a second. 5% damage reduction in this meta doesn’t mean crap when you get focused down, condied up or bursted. Instead of taking 5000 damage you take 4,750, yay whoopdee doo!
In my opinion we need something else beside flat stat increases. In a meta where classes are spitting boons left and right, AoEing the whole entire node, blocking/evading like crazy, etc a Warrior needs more utility out there. Utility > stats in this meta by a long shot.
Perhaps automatically channeling a 2 second block when you fall below 75% and you can use skills while you are blocking.

The revenant equivalent gives 10% damage reduction below 75% health for an ehp increase of 8.33%. In order for thick skin to match that it would need to give ~45.5% damage resist for the 10% of your health that it effects.
Considering we select entire specialisations at a time now and the other two minors in the revenant defensive line give stability on dodge and 25 endurance every 10 seconds on hit (the same bonus as permanent vigor assuming it triggers on cooldown), thick skin being a minor trait is not an excuse for it to be useless.
