Need Advice - Life Regen/Leeching Dungeon
I run a full healing/leech build and I’ve had great success with it.

Dual axes because both 2 and 4 hit twice per attack and 5 hits a very wide area very fast over a decent amount of time.
I use Power/Tough/Vit armor with Prec/Power/Tough orbs due to lack of gold. (I’d prefer to upgrade it to Knight armor, not bothering looking at rune options til I can get that much.) Knight jewelry and weapons. Sigil of Blood and Accuracy in weapons.
The most important part of my build is Omnomberry Pie, which grants 66% chance to steal ~350 life on crit. It doesn’t sound like much, but it does not have a cooldown, and coupled with dual axes rapid attacks and wide AoE it can generate a large amount of healing. This allows me to use Precision as a defensive stat, keeping my DPS competitive while remaining very tanky.

That build is quite interesting, I’ll definitely give it a try.
Thanks
Life steal food is the best food for dungeons, especially on a natural high hp/armor class like warrior. It’s pure gold.

Dual axes are worthless outside of Orr event farming.Either get a shield, or mace(preferable mace). It will not slow down the auto attacks and will provide a ton more.(mass knockdown?yes please!)
Life steal makes a lot of sense if you run with a decent critical rate (i.e. at least 40% without buff). Otherwise, regeneration takes the cake.

Warhorn condition conversion/offhand is another option. Shouts versus banners depends on other party member builds. Shouts with Soldier Runes are just easier for a wider audience especially PUG groups but banners support specific party builds better (i.e. Mesmer gains protection on regeneration boon for instance).
I don’t use GS – I prefer Axe/Warhorn offhand condition conversion for dungeon use since a nice wide area Weakness debuff/Vigor boon is extremely useful. Obviously with so many non-melee friendly boss dungeon fights, you need a rifle or longbow as the other weapon swap.
Lifesteal should supplement your survivability but it is hard to really rely upon it (even with a 90%+ crit rate build).

I use either Rifle or Axe/Warhorn as my secondary weapons for these reasons, switching them out as the situation calls for. As for lifestealing, combine with a warrior’s high potential for passive regeneration, it really can boost your survival to reliable levels as long as you know which attacks to dodge.

Passive regeneration and lifestealing are by no means mutually exclusive. If you’re going to max regeneration, why not max all methods of restoring life?

Dual Axes make best use of lifestealing food hands down. A Shield is great and all, but the threatening mobs tend either scoff off or be completely immune to stuns most the time and shield stance is far too short for such a huge cooldown. Offhand Mace is nice, but a line-AoE is not my style. Warriors don’t have any great tools to force enemies to clump up, making it hard to fully utilize offhand Mace’s stun. On the other hand, offhand Axe’s huge radius and 360 degree AoE allows it to minimize this weakness.

Sure, if you can do that, it is just fine. However, let’s say you don’t have a high critical rate (power/toughness and vitality/condition builds come to mind) you shouldn’t take a single life steel item, be it sigil, consumable, rune, or whatever else you can come up with. In that case, it is better to pick regeneration/healing (i.e. sigil of water, mango pie, dolyak runes, …).
