Max dmg in pve is greatsword and axe mace. 30/25/0/0/15. If you need anything ranged, longbow is the most useful in most pve situations.

Yep GS and Axe/Mace is pretty much the best weapons set for DPS warrior.

Greatsword is for burst Dmg with skill 2, 3 and 5 while the Axe/Mace have a better auto-attack and can stack some vulnerability with skill 2 and 4. With most DPS build you have a 5sec cooldown for weapons swap and by that time most skill already finish their cooldown or are about to.

Some people prefer Axe/Mac and Axe/Axe. This give you more DPS if you need to move a lot. Since most GS burst skill need your target to stay still, but usually this is not a problem since most mobs get push on a wall for max DPS.
