I was wondering which stat and sigil I should pick for my longbow. I use the longbow only in PvE situation where I just roam around(not dungeons) in places like the silverwaste or cursed shores for killing bosses and mobs. I mainly switch to it when my GS skill is on cooldown or I want some distance between me and my enemy. Since longbow provide both good instant damage from skill 3 and condition damage, I was wondering which stat and sigil I should pick for it. The stats I have in mind is berserker and sinister. As for sigil, I am not considering any damage sigil aside from force, no stacking or on kill sigil. I am leaning towards force, air, fire, strength, battle, smoldering/agony/malace/bursting.

Most likely Berserker with at least Battle. It’ll bolster the Might stacks you’ll get from blasting your Fire field. Since with a GS you’re likely Zerker based already forget about smoldering/agony/malice/bursting. One thing to think about when comparing Air/Fire to Force (or other) is that AFAIK the ticks from LB F1 can crit and trigger them.

The stats of the LB alone won’t do much to effect you damage either way so if you are already geared in full berserker, stick to a zerk LB.

For sigil, again if you are not geared towards condition then agony/smoldering are out of the question. Also depends on what you have on your GS? If you have battle then do what ever is cheaper. If you are not doing competitive speed runs for dungeons the difference is negligible between any of the staple dps sigils.

put a leeching sigil on it for free 1k dmg/hp.

in pvp setting I would do poison sigil but I don’t know if mobs in silverwaste heal or no?

If it is just to tag mobs, I’d go Battle+Fire. More Might and extra AoE.
Go with Zerk, in events people will overwrite your condi’s anyway.
