Guild Wars 2

I’ve been playing for a few months now and I’ve finally gotten my first warrior into dungeons. I just don’t know if I’m doing it right though.

Basically I’m running a gs/rifle rampager build: A glass canon heavy on crits to apply bleeds. Is this effective? Or would I see more damage with a berserker build?

Also, I’ve been thinking of a tougher dps build. One that also maximizes bleeds but forgoes power for toughness. You could add more damage with superior runes of the undead. Thing is I don’t know what traits to pick up, nor which weapons to use with it.

I’m mostly considering these builds for PvE, but I’m interested in getting into PvP at some point. I’ve never been very good at making builds, so any help with my current build and suggestions for a toughness build would be great.

Its better for you to go knight/berserker mix for a while till you get used to full berserker. Conditions on warriors are subpar, and in a team, the fight for bleed stacks can be an issue to dps. Warriors excel in Direct damage, so I suggest you move towards that. Your bleeds will still do some decent damage with the might stacks you get from signet of rage or For great justice if you run that.

get an offensive set and a defensive set, practice with the defensive set and in time you can start using the more offensive set (berserker = offensive, soldier = defensive).
acquire all the weapons and learn the traits and utilities to use for diff fights. imo this is key to a good warrior, knowing which to use and when to use it. a lot of people seem to forget you can change your traits when not in combat, learn the traits you have for the build you are using and swap for what you need. try 20/0/30/20/0 build for now and eventually you can switch to a more offensive build…
