Need help with a tanky greatsword/rifle build
Generally, to be effective with rifle/greatsword, you want to go as tanky as possible WITHOUT kittening your damage too much. Rifle is a weapon that needs to have some punch behind it to be effective.
This is a very basic rifle build, there are plenty of variations, and even the traits might be different for some of them, but this one offers alot of burst while still maintaining tankiness. It is very newbie friendly and relatively simple to play.
You have 2,800 armor which is decent. Not to mention you have an auto-stability that pops up automatically if you get CC’ed. You have another stability as well. You have endure pain, for damage mitigation and bulls charge if you feel like getting aggressive.
For your runes pack are the go to runes for any power build that doesn’t stack might, and they are relatively cheap as well and give you pretty much permafury/swiftness combined with your signet of rage.
Sigil of Air and Fire in your Rifle adds a whole lot to your bursting capabilities. Energy and Cleansing are good, all around defensive options. If you want to make the most out of your rifle I wouldn’t recommend using soldiers. If you want some more tankiness beyond this you may opt to switch some of your berserkers for valkyrie. However, I would really try to maintain the crit chance that this build has right now. If you can’t at least switch the sharpening stones for maintenance oils and if you want more tankiness go valk gear.
