So every time I try and think of a way to address the problems of the Warrior, it ends up looking like an overhaul, so I’m going to try something different this time. I’m just going to list off a bunch of traits that I think would help out the Warrior. They vary in power and effects, but I’m not going to specify which specialization or tier they should belong to. If people want to use them or build off of them, then by all means please do so. Hopefully if we have a bunch of good ideas here, Anet might use some of them.

Invigorating Blow – using a burst skill gives you Regeneration and Vigor.

Heavy Blows – your blocked attacks deal half-damage and retain their additional effects (stuns, dazes, etc).

Wide Cleaves – your cleaving attacks ignore evades and Blindness.

Quick on Your Feet – you gain Superspeed after a dodge.

Reflective Armor – you have a chance of reflecting incoming projectiles, spells, and conditions.

Arm’s Reach – any attack that has a range less than 300 is brought up to 300.

Unstoppable Rage – you gain pulsing Might and Stability while you are afflicted with a condition.

Berserker’s Focus – using a Rage skill gives you Resistance for a short time.

Clear Shot – using a burst skill gives you Resistance for a short time.

Battle Momentum – critically hitting an enemy steals some of that enemy’s endurance and gives it to you.

Concussive Blows – stuns, dazes, pushes, pulls, and launches also inflict Slow.

Piercing Burst – burst skills ignore Stability and Weakness.

Blind Fighter – Blindness now guarantees your next attack will hit, instead of causing it to miss.

Blind Burst – Blindness now guarantees your next burst skill will hit, instead of causing your next attack to miss. Only burst skills can consume Blindness.

Momentum Shift – critically hitting with a burst skill steals boons from the enemy and transfers your current conditions onto the enemy.

Evasive Momentum – evade all attacks for a short time after a dodge.

I may add more if I think of them. Feel free to post your own ideas! I’m interested to see what people can come up with.

I think one fix to warrior right now would be to make cleansing ire give you 1 second of resistance per condi cleansed. It would really allow you to take advantage of berserkers ability to pop off fast burst skills.
Also make rousing resilience grant immunity to condi application for a like 2 or 3 seconds with and internal cd of 10 seconds.
Make the elite stance trait also make it so you can’t be critted during stance duration with an internal cooldown of 15 seconds.

[Discipline] Blind Fighting – When Blinded, convert Blind and become immune to Blind for 3 seconds. (10 second cooldown)

[Weapon] Change to Sundering Mace – Dump the Vuln on Disable. Add: Critical hits with Mace attacks remove a boon, prioritizing Protection. (5 second cooldown)
Justification: Mace currently shares too much with Hammer. Vulnerability is too easy to stack already. Mace is slow and does not benefit much from a 5% damage boost. This would give Mace a larger identity as a boon stripping weapon in addition to defensive, counter-based play.

[Weapon] Merciless Hammer becomes Unyielding Hammer – Dump the Disable damage bonus. Add: Non-basic attacks with Hammer add Stability. (1 sec, 1 stack)
Justification: No one has a pocket thief sitting around Head-Shot-dazing targets to justify this damage bonus. Hammer skills are slow and don’t even benefit from its own trait. Looking at Juggernaut, it’s a single trait that cranks out Stability constantly, along with Might stacks. Hammer deserves at least the Stability to make up for its slow attack speed.

[Tactics or Arms or Base Class] Accelerated Plans – Weapon swaps and Burst skills reduce all other cooldowns by 1 second.
Justification: Without a tremendous slashing across the board, Warrior cooldowns are too long for what little utility most of the skills offer. If we’re going to have junk skills, at least let us spam them. Introducing a weapon-swap skill enhances Fast Hands as an option and encourages Warriors to use their mechanics.

[Grandmaster Arms or Discipline] Weapon Devotee – After 10 seconds of wielding a weapon in combat, gain bonus attributes (+40 to all attributes). Interval: 5 seconds. Stacks 5 times. Stacks dispel on weapon swap. [Alternatively, give a random 5-second boon (Might x3, Fury, Protection, Aegis, Quickness) every 5 seconds.]
Justification: A more conceptual piece, some warriors (and players) prefer to stick to one weapon, focusing on the mastery of that weapon. The risk/reward is giving up on strategic weapon swaps while maintaining a significant bonus. Mirrors Juggernaut, actually. The attribute stacking version ticks to full after almost a half-minute of combat, so it encourages the warrior to stay engaged.
