Hello,

I am a new player who will be playing almost exclusively PVP.

I have 2 questions:

I like a melee playstyle is it possible to play a warrior and wield a huge sword or dual wield axes and pump out damage in PVP.

Also, most games give a huge advantage to ranged classes, is a warrior wielding melee weapons at a disadvantage against most classes?

The disadvantage warrior has is mostly in lack of defensive self buffs and condition removal. Closing gaps isn’t a big deal as most weapons have a way to get in close, along with a few utilities.

As far as damage goes, we can dish out pretty well just you just have to watch for that condition and CC stuff I mentioned.

Overall, one of the most lacking classes but I wouldn’t say as terrible as a lot lead you to believe.

I’d roll thief or guardian instead. They are just easier to play as for what warrior offers.
