1. Spear Frenzy: Attack foes in a cone with a flurry of strikes.
2. Phalanx Formation: Protect nearby allies, blocking the next attack and knockback nearby foes when you block.
3. Throw Spear: Throw your spear to foe and knock them back. Pierces up to 2 foes.

One-handed axe: Heavy direct damage
Two-handed sword: Heavy direct damage, mobility
Two-handed hammer: Stuns and direct damage
Two-handed axe: Conditions and direct damage
There is a niche. Two-handed axe can have heavy AoE bleeding damage, as well as cripple, and possible weakness. Warriors are lacking a melee 2h condi weapon, so there you go.

-> Dismember: Inflicts X damage, and cause bleeding and cripple

Burst ability: Decapitate 600 range, leap at the target and cause 2-3s immobilize and heavy bleeding damage (minor direct damage)

You’ve added bleeding to every single skill. With it, you’d probably be able to sit on 25 stacks all the time no problem. While I like bleeding stuff, I don’t accept Greataxe as a condi weapon. Adding some bleeding to Greatswords, fixing swords (aa pure condition, savage leap crippling foe, redesign of 3rd ability) seem to be mire realistic and logic-based idea. I imagine Greataxe as a low-mobility, hard hitting direct damage weapon with some effects warrior lacks a ton atm. Example? Magehunter’s Strike ; small direct damage, one-second cast time, 500-600 range –
Removes up to 5 boons. For each boon removed, foe gets 5 stacks of vunerability for 10 seconds. CD : 15 seconds. Traited: If you rekove 3 or more boons, cooldown is reduced to 7 seconds and attack does more damage.

I agree The Great Ax sounds like a heavy hitter

It has to be kinda slow cause its real heavy
but pack more of a punch then Great Sword
Minus hundred blades of course, which in reality besides DPS is the only reason warriors are even alive.
Anyway perhaps something with a charge(charge may be a no) and a BIG swing that gives fury and might and has a chance to get big numbers. but on a longer cooldown, maybe 15s?

burst can grant quickness and fury and starts with the warrior spinning the Great Ax over his head once and comes crashing down on opponent stunning them. (maybe he can move with this cause other bursts stand still or leap and the Great Ax is already slow, a little like the hammers 5 ability, you can move with it.)

I doubt they’ll make a spear for land since spear is already an underwater weapon. If anything, it’ll probably be a lance and yes, definitely two-handed ax. I was so disappointed in the absence of a mighty great ax.
I’d absolutely adore an unarmed set for the classes (as well as Great Axe, but I think ideas for it are already covered ), especially Warrior. I envision unarmed being a heavy single target damaging, CC and boon heavy weapon, like a mix of Mace and Axe with basically no AoE.
Main Hand:
Jab – A quick punch, very fast animation and average damage
Punch – A strong right hook, average damage, applies a stack of Confuse
Uppercut – A powerful uppercut, high damage, knocks down for 1 second if you have Fury or 10+ stacks of Might.
Unstoppable Fist – A straight cone charge like Greatsword’s 3
Disarm – No damage, dazes the target
Offhand:
Backhand – High damage, grants you 5 stacks of Might
Victory! – With a fist pump you declare victory, granting yourself 2 seconds of fury for each nearby ally and enemy up to a maximum of 10 seconds. Allies in the radius gain 3 stacks of Might, enemies gain Weakness
Burst:
Sucker Punch – A fast, highly damaging punch with a 100% critical chance from the side or behind the target
I want every non-magic weapon, that means torch and pistol. I mean the ranger uses the torch in a non-magical way, they just throw it or light a fire, so why can’t the warrior. It could be like coat your main hand in fire to inflict burning or something. Also pistols because who wouldn’t want to use quip.
Great Axe:
Adrenaline Skills: Power Attack. Does high damage, and causes 10 vulnerability
Penetrating Chop>Penetrating Blow>Cleave Chain. Causes vulnerability>Cause vulnerability>hits harder
Dismember: High damage attack. 10 second cool down
Swift Chop: Leap at your foe (600 range), and gain swiftness for 5 seconds when you hit. 12 second cool down.
Lacerating Sweep: Spin around crippling (4 seconds) and causing bleeding (5 stacks for 6 seconds) to up to 5 foes around you. 15 second cool down
Executioner’s Strike: High damage attack. Does 50% more damage if target has 8 stacks of Vulnerability. 25 second cool down.
Lance: Lance has 260 range.
Adrenaline skill: Slayer’s Lance: Attack your foe with a with a high powered attack. Causes 6 stacks of bleeding (8 seconds) if foe is under 50% health
Lance Jab>Stab>Thrust: Single Target attacks that cause bleeding (8 seconds) on each hit.
Vicious Lance: Attack foes in a cone in front of you with rapid attacks (hits 6 times) 8 second cool down
Lance Block>(Lance Shove): Hold your lance up to block the next attack. If it’s a melee attack knock up to 3 foes back. 12 second cool down
Mighty Throw: Throw your lance with all your might gaining 5 stacks of might (8 seconds) if it hits. 15 second cool down
Merciless Lance: Attack your foe with 3 strong attacks causing 5 seconds of cripple>4 stacks of bleeding (10 seconds)>5 vulnerability (5 seconds).

Anyways, I wish GW2 had a physical DoT that was benefited by Power. GW2 is so shallow with all the homogenized effects. You really can’t do interesting things with this combat system.

Not if you can move during it. And considering how powerful a spamable pull would be, I don’t see how we could get around it otherwise.
