Guild Wars 2

The F skill is kind of dull. To me it doesn’t feel any different than any other attack. I like the idea of it, building up for a doozy of a hit, but I don’t notice it being particularly better. Maybe I’m not doing it right I don’t know. Educate me.
I’m coming from thief and guard who I think have fun, interesting f skills. Otherwise I really like warrior so please don’t think I’m hating on the class. Far from it.

Some of the burst skills are really PvP only. Earthshaker (hammer) and Skull Crack (mace) are underwhelming in PvE, but jaw-dropping when you manage to land them in PvP against human opponents, because of the long stuns they inflict.

Others, like Combustive Shot (longbow) and Flurry (sword) aren’t visually impressive, but have excellent utility.

You will appreciate bursts more after you get used to them and learn to use them to maximum effect. Most of them are specialized; the only one-size-fits-all burst is really Combustive shot.

Warr is martial arts and usually the skills r meant to look more practical than flashy like a mesmer or ele. Maybe this is why u feel this way. The berserker spec should tend to ur needs though

The f1 skills tend to be strong in at least 1 aspect of the game. As was mentioned they r not flashy but they r effective
