Guild Wars 2

I am new to the game and have decided to play a warrior.

I am not looking to be a high end pvp player just someone who want to be competent in 1v1 combat.

I was thinking fo stacking cond damage and having swords as melee and a rifle for ranged. Is this a viable concept, or should i specialize in just being melee or ranged?

for SPVP the best build is the “whistle & spray” build

you use ur warhorn as a whistle with skills

1. STOP! (warns your enemy Dont come closer!
2. Blow and scream (blows ur whistle and screams for your allies to come to ur aid)

take the utility “pepper spray” so u can use it if a mesmer gets too close to u

Some would argue that condi-damage sword-Warrior is a viable concept, but my experiences with trying those type of builds several times haven’t developed something I’d consider viable in any form of PvP.

Which sucks, because I love the Fiery Dragon Sword.
