I was fighting with my tanky warrior (see stats below), when I get hit for “20160” damage by Bladetrail from an enemy warrior (from Ring of Fire]). I should probably switch to GS to get that nice ranged damage ;)

Youtube video of the action:

Still images to have an idea of damage and stats:

If anyone could explain how to modify my warrior to get this kind of damage, I’d appreciate it :)

edit: obviously this post has a sarcastic tone, and I am reporting a bug…20k+ dmg on a “tank” with Bladetrail is not normal.

Obviously he clipped your head with the sword and got a Decapitation.

I have seen ridiculous bugs as of late that I am mad I didn’t have the reflexes to screenshot (Bolas give me “out of range” on point blank? wtf?)

Funny stuff though!

It’s because of the proximity to the other player that got hit. When he got hit, you were still within range of the hit and took melee splash dmg in addition to the 2 hits you would normally take.

Whether this is intended or not, I don’t know.

Your faith is your weakness.

20k dmg (to both me and my buddy, see his screenshot too) by splash damage of bladetrail? That can’t be intended behavior.

edit: btw, we both have the same power/tough/vit build, with 30k+ hp and 3k+ armor

No matter how often I’ve tried to trigger this bug in PvE, I’ve never seen it. But yes, it’s well known.
