While Bolas does have some issues regarding connecting with targets with a different Z axis I feel it’s unfair to ignore the skill just before that.

I always felt sad that rifle is considered useless in SPvP so I wanted to find a way to make a roamer that used one. I mention this because Bolas is probably the best set up for Killshot warriors have. If you use the tactics perk Leg Specialist (1sec of immobilization on cripple) you have a greater chance to hit not only Bolas but Killshot as well. Of course, this doesn’t stop people from stun breaking but it’s still a better chance than without.

The rifle is used basically used as a pure burst weapon and not as the primary focus. If fast hands ever works correctly it’ll be possible to quickly switch to use volley and Killshot and switch back. I like warhorn personally when traited because it helps with movement impairments and gives weakness as well as vigor, which I feel is under-appreciated. It helps you dodge 3 times in the time you would normally dodge twice. I put a sigil of energy on the rifle and horn to further increase the amount of dodging you can do. More dodge= more survival.

Well, this was SUPPOSED to be about Bolas…ah well.

I’ve been using rifle successfully in tPvP without Bolas.

If Bola’s Z axis worked just like GS thrown sword I think people would use it far more.

It’s honestly not that bad. If you start with crippling THEN throwing chances are it’ll hit. All the more fun if you ask me.
