Normal Burst Skills Need Update
Greatsword has fury scaling per level, that’s why the damage doesn’t scale. Also, odds are we would see the stage 1 and 2 damage being lowered but stage 3 staying where it’s at now.
The above statement also applies to mace’s burst skill except the stun scales.
If the damage were to scale we would either get worse damage at the lower adrenaline levels or see the current scaling mechanic turned to crap.

I don’t even care much about the scaling. My biggest issue is the fact how hard it is to hit for example mace burst and how much more fluid the promal burst feels. Similiar stuff with swords flurry.
Good idea for Flurry. Needs the locking removed too. The only skills that should lock you are incredibly high hitting ones (Meteor Shower/Hundred Blades).

most original burst skills are bull kitten skills that does not deserve a burst skill name tag on it tbh..
even some of primal burst are lackluster, like hammer one
they should just name these “normal skill that consume adrenaline”
Hammer F1 would be fine if they fixed the bug where it doesn’t work on elevation differences..

All in the first hit does allow for you to stow weapon and set up a burst though.

It would have 0 usage as a weapon outside of condition builds then. Make it immobilize blind and steal/strip boons…then i’d be cool with channeling it.

Arcing slice didn’t even…Arc…it was a garbage…slow as balls downward chop. Terrible. At least now I can clear things like illusions, minions from minionmancers, etc

I 100% disagree. The telegraphing is what makes landing them worthwhile and impressive. Make them too fast and we become like Revs. The real problem with Burst skills is that there are too many easy ways to avoid being hit by them even if you time them properly. Making Burst skills more RELIABLE but not EASIER is way healthier imo. You can do this by:
1. Swapping Leg Specialist with Restorative Strength. Almost all War weapons have a cripple and when comboed correctly makes landing Bursts like Evis and Earthshaker much easier. I would also give cripple on Mace’s Pommel Bash and Longbow’s Smoldering Arrow.
2. A Minor trait that removes blind when you use your burst (and possibly make you immune to it for the channel). My suggestion would be scrapping Thick Skin.
3. Revert some of the damage nerfs on Earthshaker and Combustive Shot. They don’t need to be as good as before, but atm Longbow is basically worthless because it is a hybrid weapon that doesn’t really do much real damage outside of Pin Down.
These changes would still make burst skills take some though and timing to land, but still be counterable by blocks and dodges.
The game needs more telegraphs and less passive defense. Lets not perpetuate the skilless gameplay we already have.

I’d like normal evis to be cone pulse; like the after effect of primal evis, but not the halved damage, and doesn’t require u to hit 1 person for the wave to trigger. Being able to move while casting it, so you can aim and/or turn around as the cast finishes, allowing more input than an paragraphed attack that locks you in animation (where your have to swap weapon to dodge or bait dodge). And the aoe providing more teamfight competence and more reliable cleansing ire and berserker’s power proc.

I’m going to agree, I absolutely cannot stand garbage like Rev sword 3, or semi- non telegraphed very high burst attacks, it’s what makes for spam wars and takes the skill out of it. It’s exactly what we need to get away from. I always felt Hammer could have a burst similar to Blaze Breaker, just a straight up ground shockwave that kd’s or stuns and doesn’t require a leap animation. Like an Earth Shatter in a wide arc, like some of those HOT mobs.
