When I first started playing a LB warrior I was very happy with pin down since it is a fast-casting ability with a fast travel time. It seemed very reliable to me. But on some nights, and quite lately almost every night I am getting some ridiculous OOR and obstructed messages on the ability. So much so where it seems to fail almost 50% of the time, even in situations like the short clip below.

Is anyone else experiencing this to this extent?

I seem to have the same problem every so often. Even when they’re right in front of me. Do you have the longbow trait, Stronger Bowstrings? I have mine traited, even though I know it’s bugged. Could be another bug from that trait.

I get the same crap with impale too. All it takes is a little bump in the road.

I do not use that trait in spvp and I get this message all of the time.

well…. one workaround trick i’ve been using to counter the werido_obtructed bug is to always use ANOTHER ability ( i like 1,2 or 4 for this) to roughly “yardstick” if someone is in range before i blow my pindown.

Sometimes it’s the weirdo_obtruct or a terrain feature blocking it….. but often it’s people dodging+ lag or people skirting the edge of the bow range and the shot gets mislabeled as OOR instead of dodged. Also remember combushot is 1200 vs 1000 untraited bow, so that does confuse non traited users. the mini-REDBARS under the skills are just useless for range.
