why not get Opportunist since you have Leg Specialist there already?

Also, instead of relying on Furious to get adrenaline, you could use Inspiring Shouts from Discipline line. One shout gives about 1 bar of adrenaline. Do you really need Bull’s Charge when you have so much stuns with hammer skills already? You could get another shout like Shake It Off instead (a stun breaker skill, which is really useful in dungeons).

Do you really have that much power to gain a lot of vitality from Great Fortitude? Why not use Berserker’s Power instead (for offensive build)?

So either drop Leg Specialist to get more adrenaline from Inspiring Shouts (if you need more adrenaline for burst spam), or keep it and get Opportunist by replacing Rending Strikes or Unsuspecting Foes (honestly mobs aren’t stunned that long; your hammer swings are slow; and with max arms trait, you don’t really need the 50% crit chance).

thank you for answering
i changed Leg Specialist to Inspiring Shouts(and use 3 shouts)
but since the burst skill will be used very often,will “Berserker’s Power” work out?
how about keeping Furious and use Berserker’s Power and Heightened Focus?

Bull’s charge is as much about mobility as it is knockdown. It’s one of the most useful skills we have right now. It does two important things: it puts you in position and it adds to CC capacity. I can’t imagine not using it in an offensive hammer build.

I’ve had some fun playing around with hammer combined with physical skills (Bull’s Rush, Stomp and Kick) and I have to say it’s pretty fun permanently booting enemies around. Don’t know if I’d ever made a serious build based entirely around CC’s though – it’s common to combine them with shouts which makes a pretty decent CC/Condi-removal build for sPvP and that could possibly work in dungeons.

I play Warrior, Guardian, Elementalist and Thief.

Bull’s Charge is primarily for single targets that aren’t bosses because bosses are usually immune. That being said, in dungeons you are often fighting many mobs at once and you have to aoe a lot; this skill is just not giving as much benefit as another skill, like more shouts -> more adrenaline -> more bursts -> more aoe stuns.

If you’re going to use burst whenever you have max adrenaline then you could just drop Berserker’s Power and not even touch Heightened Focus (bugged trait).

Since your precision is already high, you could drop the 10 points in strength and go 10 more discipline for more crit dmg and burst dmg. You could pick a utility trait like Signet Mastery (for elite) or Sweet Revenge (a little buggy but it has saved my life more than I can count).

@KazNaka
We’ll have to disagree. On any other warrior build you’re probably right. But he’s running an offensive hammer build. That innately infers knockdowns and low mobility. The added mobility of bull’s charge is simply better for a hammer warrior than almost anything else because of how crucial having high mobility is when the crap hits the fan in a dungeon. And it has synergy with hammer-related traits. If he shouldn’t use bull’s charge because some bosses are immune to knockdowns then he may as well just not use a hammer at all.

I doubt you really meant what you said about mobility. What Bull’s Charge offers is not mobility but an extra stun. You’re giving up a stun breaker and adrenaline gain (Shake It Off) for an extra stun. If you’re talking about that little forward charge motion, that’s a very minimal gain. If you really want mobility I’d suggest using gs secondary for whirlwind attack and rush. Heck, you could even take advantage of Unsuspecting Foe, i.e. pop hammer burst for a 2s stun → swap → Hundred Blades with insane crits. This is why 15+ points into discipline is good: so you can swap faster.

In my experience, the mobs hammers work on can be killed far more easily with a greatsword or axes. The enemies a hammer would be very useful on, simply ignore your interrupts and knockdowns and knockbacks, and weakness only lasts about half a second on them.

Very rarely there’s a boss somewhere that actually doesn’t cheat you and will allow you to, you know… enjoy a weapon built entirely around control effects. But not often.
