warrior and we’re the best class” Eugene

Introduction
—————————————
Perma fury without the use of any utility skills, and instant fury whenever you cripple a target. Multiple weapon support via use of attack of opportunity and berserkers power.
Explanation
————————————-
Whats going to happen is whenever you use a skill that can cripple 2 things are going to happen. 1 you will get fury, 2 u will apply a 1sec immobilize, 3 you will cripple a target.
The Fury gained from crippling can be stacked with signet of rage and no other utilities to have perma fury without the use of utilities.
Why this build is better than other builds.
——————————————————————————————-
The beauty of this build is that the weapon you decide to use isn’t dependant on specializing. Instead of having to trait for a specific weapon your getting fury whenever you use it, and your doing 10% more damage with it through bleeding damage. Plus an additional 3-12% damage based on how much adrinaline you have built up.
This build revolves around 2 traits and Superior runes of Rage.
Traits
————————-
Arms- IX Opportunist – Gain fury whenever you cripple a target
Tactics- I – leg specialist – Apply 1 second Immobilize whenever you cripple a target with a skill.
Rune
———————-
Superior Rune of Rage
(2) 20% Fury Duration
(4) 5% chance to gain fury for 30 seconds when hit
(6) +5 Critical damage while under the effects of fury (Note you will always be under the effects of fury)
Weapons that have cripple skills or immobilize
———————————————————————
Single sword – Hamstring – Cripple
Hammer – Hammer Shock – Cripple
Longbow – Pin Down – Immobilize
Axe – Throw Axe – Cripple
GreatSword – Brladtrail -Cripple
Rifle – Aimed Shot – Cripple
Harpoon – Knot Shot – Immobilize
Build Calculator with 20 extra points
Here is the basic build I left 20 unused points so a player can decide where they want them.

Perma-Fury is overrated. With 30% longer Boon duration as For Great Justice!/Signet of Rage I can keep it up for when I need it anyway.

Thats true the point of this build however is, you can take For great justice off your bar. And replace it with something else. Its a selfish build albeit that gives u fury when you use a weapon skill instead of having to use a utility.
For example instead of having to click for great justice then attack, you just attack and automatically get fury. You can then remove for great justice and replace it with any number of other utilities. Thats why its better.
Fury isn’t really overrated, I think its actually necessary for certain things that rely on critical chance to Proc especially if you have low precision.
Also instad of dumping 30 points in a trait line that is for all intense and puposes for support you can dump 20 points in something else like defense or whatever.

Fury isn’t overrated, I never said that.
But being able to keep it up constantly is, since with a very solid Shout build you can nearly keep it up constantly.

This isn’t a shout build though. There are various threads for shout builds already. If you want to talk about shout builds go there. This isnt a thread about shout builds.
There are pros and cons to shout builds, just like there are pros and cons to this build.
Notes the shout build itself doesn’t remove conditions the Runes do which every profession has access to.
Pros of shout build.
1. 30% boon duration
1. Small heals that have been nerfed.
Cons
Every minor trait of tactics is worthless,
Dumping 30 points in tactics nerfs your damage potential.
The stat Vitality doesn’t necessarily help you live longer toughness does its the heals that help.
If you wanted to still use solder runes and shouts with this build you would still have access to condition removal. And you could then pump 20 points in defense. Which would ultimately give you more damage and defense than a shout build.

No need to get snappy with me. You have to expect people to disagree with you.

My bad I wasn’t trying to be snappy I just thought you were missing the point of using leg specialist with opportunist in a build that isn’t a shout build. I have a set of the karma armor with soldier runes in them that I use for fractals and dungeons. I know all about shout builds. This build is different. Like for example the 1 sec immobilze while using a GreatSword or axe that gives you fury at the same time is awesome in PVP. And with free points to dump in defense you can do something like reflect projectiles with a shield which is also awesome in PVP. Or you could put them Discipline and get mobile strikes, so not only does your weapons skills give you fury but they also remove immobilize which replaces having to shout to remove it. Thus the cool down on weapon skills is a lot lower than the cool down on shouts even with 20% reduction in shout cool down so you can do this more often.

eh, I don’t have a shout build nor boon duration. All I need for perma-fury (2s downtime) is signet mastery, SoR and FGJ. FGJ is a great skill, I don’t know what the fuss is all about not having to use FGJ…I WANT to use it.

The point of this build is you don’t need to use a utility. Which means instead of specing signet mastery and putting a signet on your bar you could put something else. Instead of having to click a utility to get fury you get it automatically. As an added bonus you get a 1 sec immobilize when you use a cripple skill so when other players try to kite you, you can stop that it gives you more CC capability. Instead of using like throw bolas or bulls charge with HB you can just use bladetrail alone and also crit a whole bunch while doing so. I think you guys just don’t understand.
So you could go GS/Axe shield. You get 2 immobile, 2 cripples, and a stun. On top of that If you spec mobile strikes you get 4 ways to escape immobilize. And possibly 3 ways of gaining fury and causing immobilize with the last one being situational. All without using utilities.
If for example if you use reflect projectiles and use a shield when someone shoots you with a ranged cripple it is reflected back to them as immobilize and gives you fury at the same time. letting you easily escape them or use it as an advantage to close the gap.
