After a controversial topic about why the trait is bad, I have been proved that Phalanx Strength can be a very potent trait in random groups, where you cannot rely on an Elementalist to Might Stack correctly, as well as fools (usually Guardians) overlapping Fire fields with less important fields.

I do want to make it absolutely clear that this build is not an optimal build for organised teams, but rather a PUG build

This is the build itself – 2/6/0/6/0 – Axe/Mace /Sword.

Equipment:

  • Full Berserker Armor with Strength Runes & Versatile Mighty Infusions.
  • Berserker Axe with Strength Sigil & Mighty Infusions.
  • Berserker Mace & Sword (offhand) with Battle Sigils & Mighty Infusions.
  • Full Berserker Trinkets/Accessories with (Versatile) Mighty Infusions.

I know a lot of players will be outraged and throw abuse at me for not including a GS with a Might Stacking build, but this is because it simply is NOT necessary and cuts the Warriors personal DPS by ~2k. More than enough Might is stacked randomly in the group, through your own FGJ & SOR, more often than not other PUG Warriors using FGJ & SOR/Battle Standard, and we all know PUG Guardians love their Empower on the Staff.

If this for some reason isn’t enough, just do a few might stacks with the Longbow pre-pull and off you go.

I would just tell guardians with a staff to just switch out their staves. It’s just a bad, bad weapon that destroys your DPS that most pug guardians don’t even use anymore.

Now we got that out of the way.

That build might work but it’s gonna be very awkward.

I’m not sure how much pre-fight might stacking will help because since you’re in a pug, you probably won’t kill a lot of bosses before the timer on the stacks are up.

After that, you can generate 14 stacks of might yourself without a GS. 8 stacks of which will have a 12 second timer.

I’m quite sure that you can’t mirror other peope’s might with PS anymore (initially you could), correct me if I’m wrong though.

Have you tried this build out much? I just can’t get it to work out in my head without a guardian constantly using empower.

Side note: it’s often not the guardian’s fault because of that silly trait that we can’t avoid without gimping our DPS builds that auto-drops a light field at 50% HP x:

In the average party this build is the king. Both of those builds you guys posted are based on camping on GS. I think that if you use FGJ and the might on weapon swap sigil that you can maintain 25 stacks without camping on GS. And have better overall DPS while AA with a AXE while 100blades is on cooldown.

Pre fight might stacking is simple. Cast SOR and FGJ for a total of 11 might stacks. Then your party instantly has 11 stacks before a fight. Use 100 blades and they have17-18 stacks. Now weapon swap for another 3 stacks you are now at 21 stacks. You can use a might on hit sigil on your axe/mace or axe/sword to generate the reamining might stacks to 25.

Same, if you don’t have an ele stacking might this build can and will cover it by taking a small hit to your dps. Assuming your using GS to help stack might, Skale Venom brings good weakness and vlun making this build even better. This build makes okay pug groups good.
