Dear Anet,
Please fix gap closing/pathing abilities such as Rush, Leap, Shield bash and Bulls Rush. They constantly miss unless you deselect the target, overshoot and then tab back. In w3, while having swiftness and my testing partner without, in a straight line these abilities fall short even though they are within the range limit, and by simply stepping to the side these abilities are countered even while standing still as the pathing is completely broken and tends to bug out completely. If the ability does manage to make it to the target it often overshoots completely. This has been the case since day 1 and for the life of me I have no idea why it has been overlooked for so long. I believe I have been patient enough but it is a horrible and critical flaw for warriors.

the tooltip those abilities list are totaly wrong, deceiving or broken…
I’ll take Rush as an example, tho it translates to every ground based gap closer…
The tooltip states it has a range of 1200… which is its BASE range, not the range it always has because…
if you are slowed [ crippled/chilled/etc. ] the range on that skill is reduced by the % you are slowed…
If you are chilled… 66% of Rush’s range is cut, reducing its range to 400
[ keep in mind, 130 is MELEE range – and, whoever had the BRIGHT idead to make GAP CLOSING skills be affected by slows… should be fired – not even talking bout the pathetic pathing and bugs connecting the skills to NME players ]
So in reality the tooltip should state : Range 400-1200 depending on conditions.
Gets even worse if you use bullrush as example with its 600 range, that would be cut down to 200, 70 more range than a melee swing but with 40sec CD .
WEIRDLY buffing yourself with swiftness, wont increase the range on those skills – so we only get the negative side of that STUPID mechanic.
Tho… lets be happy that cripple n chill dont stack in intensity…
I mean, we are one of the few classes that CAN specc, and often do, for 100% melee [ GS + xx / S ] – yet we are also the class with the most ground based “gap closers”
[ cant really call em that, can we ? ] or better “charges” that suffer from bad pathfinding and plenty other bugs or weird working mechanics…
While most other classes either are ranged and are not as dependant on gap closers as we are… or just have leap style gap closers that mostly work way better.
and our ranged slows also dont really help us… because bladetrail has such a bad mechanic that you will only hit ppl ONCE
[ not even talking bout the returning blade ]
if they are either running straight from or at you, standing still or are right infront of you in melee range when you throw the sword and dont move till its back.
[ i know, throwing it at max possible range and having it connect will result in both hits connecting, but a simple sidestep still negates all that ]
Also the axe throw with cripple RARELY connects if the NME is moving in ANY way … i often throw the axe on someone who is clrealy in range, and either they are out of range by the time the axe would have reached em… or they are moving which makes the axe throw miss in 90% of all cases.
Yet other, non melee, non kiteable classes have instant slows and chills, sometimes even aoe, that are WAY more reliable and easy to use/connect.
Sometimes i really wonder who put the groundwork for this games pvp… because lacking in such basic departements is really a bummer.

i use soldier runes and normally cleanse conditions before using earthshaker just incase i only jump halfway, but i shouldnt always need to do that, since its a F1 skill thats already bugged.
the thing is that cripple or chill can be too easily applied, most cripple has low cd and if we fight frontline we will always be slowed, rendering charging skills useless.

Warrior was knee-jerk nerfed during BWEs.
EP was nerfed down to 3s (yet tooltip still stating 5).
Brawn was made useless.
Evis range/damage overnerfed.
Now add gap closers bugged and we have some issues.
Fix these BWE knee-jerk nerfs please, it’s been 5 months.
No one is scared of HB anymore.

Add to the fact that if you have to slow a Warrior to deal with him, you’re pretty pathetic.
Buff Mobile Strikes to cleanse slows and immobilize. That would make it so that you have to time slows instead of spamming it without thinking.
