Hey,

I’m level 55 on my warrior at this moment. Previously I relied on the 5 signets method for 80/90% crit chance. Was fun, but now that starts to dimish, as this method only grants about 8% crit now, hardly worth the 5 skills ofcourse.

Currently, this is my build:
http://www.gw2builds.org/create/bwe_1/warrior#0.0.3.0-3.5.6.7.1-20.10.15.0.0-2.11.3.3

I wear knight armor, using a GS+rifle for normal play. If I encounter an area with dozens of mobs or elites, I have a mace+shield in inventory for soaking up damage/gaining control.
My build is trying to focus on dealing good damage, while having a bit of defense and quite some regeneration(I use healing signet + vampire rune + sigil of life + adrenal health). So far it works I guess.

But what would you advice to change on my build? I guess switching up the signets(and the trait for the +precision) with things like endure pain and shake it off.
I’d just like to keep the mixture of good offence, some defence and nice health regen(still only leveling eh).

So what would you advice?

hi there!

My warrior is my primary and thus its the first toon I ever got to 80, which was sooo long ago. I was intrigued by your post because my warrior uses Gs/Rifle and the adrenal health/healing signet mix as well. I don’t know if all I did then is still relevant but anyhow, just to start, my warrior is largely for dungeon running, and i rarely use her in WvW and never bothered with spvp.

currently: sorry i never really used any build editor thing but i remember my warrior build easily enough.Traits i use are 20/0/20/30/0 and choices of major traits Berzerker power, Slashing power, sure footed, last stand, empowered, lung capacity and Vigorous shouts. Armor is Soldier stats (power/tougness/vitality) with superior rune onf melandru. Trinkets are a mix of knights and berzerkers and a Soldier backpiece. Weapons are berzerker stats. apply whichever sigil is best, for gs i just use sigil of force.

Skills: Healing signet, For great justice, on my mark. Endure pain and battlestandard (switch to signet of rage if solo). On the matter of healing signet, i see a lot of ppl prefer other healing skills, and theres a thread that complain healing signets are weak. I will just say im NOT a min-maxer and probably other healing skills are better somehow. but i will say I want to be lazy. and passive heal is lazy. also u get a bit more regen from adrenal health trait. plus i actually got dungeon master on this build…

For starters, I will say this emphasize my decently lazy play style. really why bother with high crit and stuff but dodge around like a bunny when i can rahter just move about lazily abit here and there and just lazily whack things? :P high damage for me is achieved by boons and traits (berzerker power gets as high as 12% more dmg i think and empowered gives u a small boost in damage for every boon you have… any boon even if its a non dmg modifier boon like vigor). What i get overall is good enough damage, decently survivable and usually relaxed play (but hey if perfect dodging is ur style, maybe u can tone down defense for more offense?) also the two shouts are to increase damage but with the traits also give some slight healing. really cool stuff in fights, plus they heal ALLIES too.

for levelling process, i advocate going for more dmg first, as i find warriors tend to survive better by killing things fast in the open world and pve. probably why zerker warriors are so popular but zerker builds are usually nice if you like do or die types. i opt a more balanced approach. you could do WvW if u run with zergs (since running wvw is usually said as a nice way to lvl a toon,) but use a longbow instead so u can aoe tag mobs better.

well i dont wanna make this too long, so ill finish off by saying, in the end u have to adapt a build to how ur comfortable with. no need to carbon copy a build and not get the most out of it because of differing playstyle.
