Please consider revamping the Warrior class skill list.
Not talking about the weapon skills here, since they have some of the more interesting weapon skills.

but I am talking about the skills that players can choose from.

I am a fan of heavy armored melee classes in RPGs. There are only 2 Soldier classes in the game. And 1 of them I already have at 80. But the Warrior I am having a hard time being motivated to play and grind to max level,
because the previous leveling experience reward on my Guardian, came from unlocking new cool skills to use. That was a big motivation. But when playing the Warrior, they have no interesting skills to use. Most of the better skills are Passive Signets with dull active effects. Warriors have very little interesting skills compared to the other classes in the game.

and honestly it isnt fair. There is little motivation to gain skills when they arent interesting in begin with.

I hope Anet can put aside any disagreement and revamp this class’ skill list, to be more interesting. I played many MMO with Warrior classes, and even original GW1 Warrior had cooler skills. Please replace these skills with some ideas from other MMO Warriors or even GW1 Warrior.

I remember unlocking FGJ and shake it off and never removing them from my skill bar since. that’s basically how bad the rest if the utilities are

ya, sadly it only gets worse: at 80 your basicly usin 3 outta 4 shouts all the time, only difference is wether your usin fear me as in wvw or on my mark like in pve.

maby frenzy and bull charge for spvp and stomp for hilly areas in wvw but thats about it.

Signet of Stamina is awesome.

Signets are actually quit strong. I’ve been playing a shout-based warrior from day 1 however some weeks ago I switched to signets and if you use your traits correct they kick kitten I’ll give you that they don’t bring a lot to the group, however they do wonderful things for the warrior. Slap on 5 signets and go crazy… and at least it is something else than the ordinary shout warrior.

5-signets works when you are below level ~60. On level 80 it simply sucks. FGJ! out-damages Signet of Might, you get weakest healing skill (imo), no stun-break, you should use Signet of Rage on-recharge. All that for little bit more CritChance.

almost all my builds are stuck right now with the same 3 utilities T.T
(balance stance <—> Frenzy) (bullscharge <—> Bolas Throw) (signet of stamina)
they offer everything i would want. I switch between sword/sheild and sword/sword. i usually get last stand as the latter so frenzy is a viable choice. My second set is always GS for mobility/dmg, and i feel like with those 3 abilities, i get tons of oops buttons, and still use them offensively.

I like to imagine how many times I’ve pressed #7 to do For Great Justice. I wish it had an autocast like your basic attack, because I pretty much spam it my entire Warrior career.

they should put back the skill I was using cause it was there 1 day gone the next

Agreed guards are stronger/tankier/flashier versions of warrs… It’s sad really

You got to level 10 and got killed by something that wasn’t elite didn’t you? All of this is based on opinion, and thank sweet baby kitten Anet doesn’t cater to kitten and opinion
