Power/Precision/Toughness
Could it be a thing for Warriors or is it too similar to Knight’s and Cavalier gear to open any new horizons?
Well Sentinel’s is a thing, Soldier’s just with Vit major. And there’s already a “Knight’s” with Precision as the major for trinkets. I can’t see why Power>Precision=Toughness can’t be a thing.
More armor stat variety can only be a good thing – of course unless they lock it behind stupid drop recipes and ridiculous time gated nonsense as they have habit of doing.

Precision isn’t really needed with sigil of intelligence. In a PVP situation your big damage is only from skills like eviscerate, back breaker, killshot stuff like that. These are single skills that do big damage. You don’t really need to consistently crit you just need to crit for your big damage skills and crit hard when you do it.
The problem with knights in my opinion is weak crits. And with the crit damage nerf min/maxing now is basically non existent. You cant really do somthing like knights ring then exquisite ruby jewel like you could before.
You are so much weaker if you mix gear now than just going pure builds.
If they come out with this I still wont be using it. It would of made a lot of since and been great before the crit damage nerf as you could min max but now min maxing is basically dead.
It will be a better training wheels set thats about all.

For sPvP, it makes a lot of sense. For PvE/WvW, you can already tweak/adjust accordingly with mix and match of sets/runes so there will not be any major changes there.
IMO I don’t think Power (main)/Precision/Toughness will give us much. It is probably better to mix knight with other set to achieve better result. Yes you will have less power compared with full power gear, but power is over rated.
I know these is math done to show that power weights more compare to precision and ferocity, but that doesn’t include the 20+ stacks of might that every warrior can self buff these days.
