Power Toughness Healing power
Or there is no point for a warrior to play support?
There is no point. Healing Power is a worthless stat. You’re better off with self preservation using Knights and life steel food so you are both support and offensive (Shout/Banner preferred). Get some ideas here https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/Build-High-damage-team-focused-dungeon-PvE/first#post1099679 if you want to do a PvE build.

hello i have full healing set for hammer / shout warrior. its a lot of fun when people cant kill you because your healing is bigger then their dps, but gets boring fast. ok you heal fast and a lot and remove conditions, but what else can you do? nothing.
As a Cleric-geared Shout Warrior, I keep glass cannons up and buff their DPS via bosons and conditions in PvE. In WvW I push the battle lines forward, play decoy, and rez downed allies even when focused.
You accomplish a lot through others. It’s not useless at all. If I solo a GS is enough.
Healing Power would’ve been great if it actually scaled with Adrenal Reserves and Healing Signet..
Personally, I’ve gone with this setup as a 3x shout warrior. I’m currently using an axe, shield with a hammer secondary and completely destroy. Since WvW involves mulitple skirmishes on either a large scale (50+ ppl) or small scale (4v4), being able to one shot heal yourself up along with your allies makes a huge difference. The axe has good burst dmg while the hammer helps shake ppl off yourself and friends as well.
Would be interesting to see stats from someone with full pov/tough/healing gear.. Might be worth a shot together with beserker accessories

I’m using this build. Healing power along with a banner or shout heal build does keep my kitten alive in the harder explorable mode dungeons etc.
I’ve recently started changing from full Soldier’s gear to Cleric’s. Currently have Masterwork Sapphire jewelery and a Magi’s Spineguard (rare). I’d get Cleric’s armor now but I’m saving up for my Legendary. I really like it so far, when I get my armor my Banner’s regeneration should heal for about 300 and I’ll be getting about 2250 health every 3 seconds from all my regen stuff (Healing signet, Adrenal Health, Regeneration) if I can get 25 stacks of healing power. I’ve lost a couple thousand health but I haven’t noticed a drop in survivability, if not being more durable. Note: I only PvE
I’d say get cleric armor and do either magi or berserker for the other stuff. Get runes that give boon duration if you wanna spec into that. Sigil of water give some extra healing as well but not sure if its as good as sigil of force.

Pretty much this and I thought healing power would affect those two skills healing ticks.

Soldier’s gear is even worse than Cleric’s. That doesn’t make Cleric’s good. If all you’re trying to do is survive you’re nearly dead weight to your team.

Pray tell what DPS boons do you offer that aren’t given by every other warrior spec? All your cleric gear does is increase the heals of your shouts and that’s it. That is a huge gear investment for not a whole lot of return. It’s not like a Guardian which has a bajillion different heals that benefit.
The Healing increase you get for Vigorous Shouts with Healing Power is abysmal. I have 0 Healing Power and heal for over 1.000 per Shout. Considering their relatively short cooldown, that is plenty.
Do you even lift, bro?

You can play support without relying on ineffective healing power. Shouts can heal, remove conditions, and buff your allies. Warhorn can remove conditions, weaken the enemy, and buff allies with vigor (more dodging = good). Banners can buff and provide regen. Most of those things are not heals.

You can get each shout to heal for over 2k, which is a fair amount. Would love to be able to yoyo my hp bar like on my ele, but that’s not going to happen anytime soon. But if you have 3 shouts and shrug it off, in addition to all the passive healing, so it helps a lot, I’d say better in the long run than a bunch of toughness and vit
Healing Power would’ve been great if it actually scaled with Adrenal Reserves and Healing Signet..
Healing Signet
At level 80 the passive regeneration is calculated by: 200 + (Healing Power * 0.033) per second.
At level 80 the active heals for 3320 + Healing Power.

The scaling isn’t that bad, if you normalize over 30 seconds. Over 30 seconds, Signet passive healing gives 6000, plus .99 of your healing power.
Most heals with a 20 second cooldown also scale directly with healing power
