This is a Wpvp question (level 63 atm)

rifle is primary for me and going power build.

off hand has to be warhorn for the speed buff, condition cure (traited) and the aoe weakness (under valued condition).

So that would mean Axe is only choice right? Sword is pure condition? The leap on sword makes it appealing, but would not mesh well with power, correct?

Sword is more of a hybrid weapon.
It benefits from both, raw damage and condition damage,
as it inflicts two bleeds with the first two auto attack skills and a strong
final thrust with the last part of the chain skill.

Savage leap (2) and hamstring (3) bring mobility and a little CC to the table
so you have anything you could want.

Unless you decide to use an offhand sword, which inflicts
many more bleeds, in which case going for condition damage would be wiser.

I love the main hand sword as a secondary weapon,
but if you are looking for raw, simple power the axe might be what you want.

I do not know how you are going to play, but also consider the burst skills:

Axe has a high damage burst skill.

While the sword´s burst skill inflicts many bleeds instead of raw damage, it is
the long immobilization that might be interesting for you to get some distance for your rifle. (You can interrupt the skill and leave your foe immobilized).

I run with axe and horn too. AOE weakness is awesome and indeed under valued.

And I just love perma swiftness with horn and rage signet use.

Axe I think is the only viable main hand to go with horn for power build.
For burst I build up adren, FGJ, rage signet, axe2, horn5 then F1.

I also have the +dmg when weakness traited.
