Guild Wars 2

I’m looking to try out a pure ranged Warrior using Rifle/Bow for PvE and Dungeons, just wondering if anyone is currently doing that and how it’s working out?
Maybe someone could point me in the direction of a build, that would be great.
I’m assuming points in Arms and Tactics is a no brainer but other than that I’m kinda lost.

The severe down side in relation to bows that I know of is that there are only 2 extras for them (1 for range, the other for +10% damage to mobs on fire) unless I’ve missed some.

The only real way I’ve been able to justify staying at a distance is that I have banner healing and between picking up the one banner for a small burst heal and laying out the others (32.5k health regen total so far, but I’m working on getting that higher) I throw down the fire burst and explosive arrows and a little more pew pew. I felt bad until I sprang for an exotic bow from the TB.
Maybe someone else has figured out a really good dps way. I only use ranged for support-damage while keeping ppl alive.

Overall unless they add more extras to get I know the bow is pretty lacking. Maybe if they just put a -20% CD on the bow skills that’d help a lot… Or others that mirror the GS perks that you can get. Rifles I’m not too sure about.
There’s SO many options with warriors that I still have a lot to check out XD.

Bow is quite a good support weapon though. You can lay down fire field, give area might and blind. You can immobilize too. If you play support banners you probably don’t have much condition damage but I think (might be wrong) that when your team mates combo through your fire field it is their condition damage that matters. So a player built for bleeds is now doing high burning damage as well.

I use ranged almost exclusively now; have since mid level’s I think. The AoEs damage, fire field, and combo effects are quite nice. I tend to use Bola’s with it to give me two immobilizes.
