Pure Strength- Strength Grandmaster trait.

Description: Physical Skills removes stability.

Enemy player has stability -> Warrior uses kick -> Enemy player loses stability -> Warrior uses stomp -> Enemy player gets launched.

Why?

It highlight’s the Warrior’s natural strength. They rely on speed, strength, toughness, and heavy armor to survive.

It is like a huge wrestler looking down at a weak person that is trying to stand his ground. Then the huge wrestler kicks him, the weak person cannot hold his ground and in the next attack sends the weak person flying.

Gameplay reasons:

Physical skills are just lackluster. They aren’t really good.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

I don’t think we need to remove the one weakness that Mace/Shield + GS has.

I think the real reason physical utilities are bad is because warriors lack a lot of utility in our weapon sets.

We have to bring 2-3 survival utilities at all times as we have very little access to things like blind and protection. Our elites offer little to no help as well. Signet of Rage gets some if we use Lyssa runes. Battle Standard is a banner and banners are lame.

Most other classes have a profession mechanic that gives them more utility without their utility slots

Guardians – Virtues
Engineeers – Kits(I know thats a utility slot) + tool belt
Necro – DeathShroud
Mesmer – Shatters
Thief – Initiative(they can use the same skill multiple times)
Elementalist – Essentially 4 weapon sets
Ranger – Pets and Weapon utility(probably the closest to the warrior in terms of utility)

Warrior has to trait to get any utility out of burst(Cleansing Ire) and our weapon sets have very little utility except for shield and warhorn and warhorn is not the most attractive weapon to use.

they are bad on they own. or at least very very very situational.
Anet put action skill in utility slot… but with utility CD.

-why stomp launch? and not stun? as a melee class it make no sense…. and not every aspect of the game in point holding…
-kick cd is ludicrous
-bolas are a jokes… even a distracted guy could evade those.
-bull’s charge a little more useful since is a gap closer and a CC, but still get smoked by any shadowstep, blink, form and so on.

removing stability with a trait is a bad idea… since 3 of 4 skill relay on launching/knockbacking (so the first would be wasted)… and only 1 is pbaoe and 1 as a tiny cone. to be effective you need to equip 2 or 3.. and that wouldn’t work.

my idea is to rework them completely…
make the warrior the real master of weapon…
transform them in engineer-like KIT (weapon).

each weapon could have a different range of damage and utility.
2 offensive 1 defensive 1 support

this way you add more depth and flavour to a straightforward class

And Rocket kick is superior to our kick. On top of decent damage (if power build) its also applies burning.
