Guild Wars 2

Recently, I’ve been running a pure axe/mace build for dungeons, including fractals. The dps is extremely good and I have plenty of dodges to evade all the major damage; but it’s difficult for me to tell whether or not the axe/mace build I use is the most optimal one for DPS.

I know the greatsword + axe/mace build for PvE, I’m talking about a PURE axe/mace build.
Something like this maybe?

If you read the thread the most recent build you posted is basically the same thing as the current meta build except 2 traits are swapped out (Slashing Power => Axe Mastery, Forceful Greatsword => Deep Strikes). The OP in that guide also talks about the pure axe variant which is probably better in parties where you have constant source of 23+ might.

If you wanted the highest DPS pure axe build it would probably be 30/25/0/10/5. 5 Discipline just gives a raw statistical boost, and 10 tactics gives Empowered/Desperate Power if you are ballsy. There is nothing in Arms 30 worth taking because you hit 100% crit chance with pure axe already. Loss of Fast Hands shouldn’t be too major in a build where you only use axe, though I prefer the normal 30/25/0/0/15 because I like Fast Hands (and I swap to GS A/M build for some dungeons)
