So I made this build, because I intend to be playing pve a lot with some friends. I’m really the only one who is any good at this game, so I need to have a good build to help them level with dungeons and end game. Here it is, any suggestions for this build would be amazing, and also on HOW to get some of the gear, because I actually dont have all the stuff in the build.

Also, I didn’t put on exotic jewels, because don’t even know how to get them lol. I don’t play all day everyday.
Thanks.

First of all between the two banners of discipline and strength, banner of discipline is always more important than strength unless you’re fighting something that cannot be crit (structures) and signet of fury would be better personal DPS over signet of might as well provided once again, you are not fighting a structure.

Secondly the brawler runes aren’t anywhere near the best choice to make. If scholar and strength runes are both too much for you to afford then I guess whatever runes you get I suggest have the mindset of them being temporary until you can afford scholar, because the difference will be huge.

Third I think the best way to explain to you why I don’t think getting knights trinkets is a good idea is that you can swap out your offhand mace for a sword to have a block, possibly with an energy sigil as well and you’ll have way more defense for yourself and way better overall DPS than you would by just using knights trinkets constantly.

That’s my feedback, overall it looks like you did a pretty good job looking up information

You can get all of the stuff you need from the trading post. If you want to save some money, you can get weapons and armors for dungeon tokens. The dungeons CoE, CoF and Arah sell berserker stats. Doing Citadel of Flames path 1 + 2 a few times is a good way to get started.

Besides what miku said runes of rage are a decent choice and extremely cheap. Between for great justice and rage signet you should have perma fury.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback. Would you suggest going for more of a straight glass cannon build then? I was thinking the knight trinkets would give me some extra toughness, but do I need it, or should I just put on berserker all the way?

Another thing, I hear talk of the strength rune being better than the scholar rune. Opinions?

Well quite obviously the knights would give you extra toughness. The point is that passive defense is less efficient than active defense is, so it should be the last resort when it comes to the point that you need more to live.

Dodging and blocking should be what you try to take advantage of the most. There are many ways to survive longer and I encourage you to avoid defensive stats in gear as much as possible because of the fact that it doesn’t cost anything to change traits and utilities, but it always costs to change your armor.

Umm, this depends on a few things.

First of all in groups scholar will always be better. The reason for this is that most of the time unless you’re with really bad players, you will not be the only source of might. This means that if you’re already at 25 might then the extra might duration is completely useless for you, however extra ferocity given by scholar is not.

The situation in groups where strength runes becomes better is if you are playing with a phalanx build which is extremely powerful in groups due to how easy and reliable it is for the warrior to maintain 25 might for everyone. While it is possible to play phalanx without strength runes, it’s less efficient unless you use fried golden dumplings.

In a solo setting strength runes and scholar runes result in roughly equal outcome provided you maintain your scholar bonus 100% of the time, on a single target. Scholar becomes better once two or more targets are involved (see this for an example of it), but it’s often times quite difficult to maintain your scholar bonus 100% of the time in a solo setting and often times unrealistic to expect. Either way, soloing with either of them is perfectly fine.

In the end I advise min-maxers to keep both sets available depending on the situation but you would be perfectly fine using either of them in both groups or solos.
