Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,

New to this game and just about to hit level 80. Just wondering on your opinions for PvE builds/weapons. I was all set on axe/mace + longbow until I had seen some posts about high fractals and shield viability? Personally I would prefer to stay away from the GS unless it is the best way to go for quickest advancement. Builds? Any cookie cutter builds for furthest/quickest advancement?

Lastly, for PvP I was debating going GS + mace/shield. Thoughts on this?

Your best option for tPvP is to go ele or mesmer.
