[PvP][Testing] Flurry of Immobilization

I’m surprised you’re taking Sure-Footed over Dogged March. The extra uptime on Balanced Stance is probably nice to have, but Dogged March is just… really, really good considering where it’s located in the tree.
I’d be leery of stacking Immobilize duration, though; it’s actually pretty easy to cure Crippled and Immobilize, so if they figured out your general attack plan and waited until after you’d used Pin Down and Throw Bolas, they could cure the Immobilize and you’d be left with your thumb up your kitten .
I’d suggest something like Bull’s Rush, but then they could get out of it with a stun break effect… Hmm.
How dedicated are you to Burning Arrows? You could drop the ten points in Tactics and get 10 in Discipline for either Warrior’s Sprint or Signet Mastery; if you did that, you could Dogged March and use Dolyak Signet instead of Balanced Stance as your stun break/stability skill.

Sure Footed doesn’t currently effect Balanced Stance – but it makes the duration of Berserker Stance 10 seconds. Those extra 2 seconds can be really handy. You can sub out SF for DM but I personally enjoy having the higher up-time on BS.
Condition removing skills prioritize the most recently applied condition, this is where Impale shines. Due to it being applied over time, passive removal will tend to remove the Torment – only to have it instantly reapply. You also have Burning and even the Bleeds to bury the Immobilize.
I did consider putting those 10 points in Discipline but having Pin Down and Bolas on the same CD makes the whole build run much smoother.
Your suggestions aren’t bad, and you can modify it how you please, I just feel this is the optimal setup with what I have in mind.

It seems like you’d need to change things up a bit if there was a Warhorn Warrior on their team, though; Charge will instantly clear all of your Immobilize on top of converting another condition into a boon. I’m not sure if other classes can have this potential or not, but it’s something to think about.
I run something similar but I don’t fire off all my Immobilize at once. I usually wait for a cleanse then just reapply it.

That’s not a bad strat, my combos are generally just assume that you are using them at the appropriate time. It’s never a bad idea to throw out just enough skills to get them to pop any big cleanses if you think they have any.

Warhorn used to convert condition to boons all the time but since la patch that was removed. To me it was a huge nerf. Tier 2 tactic tree is pretty stacked with many really good skill. Empower ally, quick breathing and shrug it off. They all great but AoE 2 conditions converted to boons every 15 sec or so is really great.
warhorn 4 will still remove chilled crippled and immobolize all at once it just converts one of those into a boon. Yes I am aware of the other conditions only being converted one at a time. Huge nerf to my play style as well.

I run a similar build too, just few differencies.
And one of my favorite combo is :
Full adre : Pin down > Combustive shot > Arcing arrow (for the power bonus) > switch > savage leap (for the fire aura) > impale.
Then just fight in melee with the aura and the extra damage it does.
This is a better version of the original build IMO.

Doom on swap provides poison. Poison becomes a great use of your condition damage and another cover condition for cleanse builds.
I also think the 30 in Discipline is better than the other allocations because it gives you fast hands, perma fury and cheaper/faster burst skills. This means that you can immobilize people in your fire field much more often.
I’ve been running something similar for a while and find that it works best when I am working in my Longbow field. The main difference is I go for melandru or lyssa runes instead of the extra condition damage.
