Guild Wars 2

So I just made my first warrior today. Hey a short, bulky, black Asura with an Afro. (Awesome right?) That aside, I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me regarding how to best manage fights and what weapons are ideal in terms of doing burst then going defensive till CDs are off. Hoping someone can help me out here.

Warrior has a glorified 1 skill, a weapon that deals consistent damage through 1 mashing is pretty much what you’re looking for, most people go for the greatsword, and fall back on longbow/rifle to put some distance between them when things turn bad. Not to say that the other skills don’t have their uses, but if you’re looking to use all cooldown skills then switch, I’d say a more fast pace profession like Elementalist is more to your suiting. Just my opinion as I’m sure many would disagree with me.
